Arrived at 6pm and was taken to our table, received drinks quite fast then it fell away. took 40 min for out order to be taken and that was after my wife prompt the waitress. I was disappointed that there was no bruschetta, only 1 left. The breads arrived, very small serves, 4 pieces of bruschetta and garlic bread and 6 of crusty Italian bread which was soft. It then took 10 min for the entrees to arrive. The squid was very nice, well presented. After 20 mins our mains arrived. My veal was discussing, the mushroom sauce was piled over the meat and the presentation was not nice. The meat was like it had been boiled like silverside. there was a few rocket leaves on the side nothing else. My wife's marinara was like it came from a Heinz tin of spaghetti, very disappointing. My sons garlic prawns arrived, there was approx. 10 prawns in a circle sitting in a tomato sauce with no side condiments, very disappointing. My daughters lamb shank arrived stuck in a pile of potato, its presentation did not look good. My other son had chicken pieces with chips, (kids meal) . very small portions and 1 out of 10 for presentation and quality. My other son had the pizza and it arrived and looked great, my son enjoyed it and ate the lot. Overall the service was low and you could not blame the waitress's as there was only 2 on although the place was only 30% it was very disappointing when you have to prompt to get served. The restaurant is outdated and the décor needs an upgrade, the placed has an unwelcome smell to it and the toilets are filthy. This restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in. We all adored the decor and the authentic, Italian feel to the place. We were welcomed by a lovely gentleman behind the bar and then seen to by a polite and personable server throughout the night.
Table water was forthcoming and replenished without even having to ask. We also brought along two bottles of wine (BYO wine with a small corkage fee is available and such a bonus!) These were immediately placed in wine coolers for us.
We ordered bruschetta and arancini for entree (both absolutely delicious). For mains, I enjoyed the lamb shank, which was tender and falling off the bone. My Mum had the almond crusted chicken, which was mouth-wateringly good. My Dad chose the penne carbonara (full of flavour), and my other siblings had the ragu gnocchi (handmade on site). Each meal was fresh, delicious and the portions very generous. To finish, we picked a range of desserts, including the tiramisu, cannoli, gelato and pavlova. All of these were delectable and just the perfect ending to the night. You cannot fault the food, and it is delivered with warmth, friendliness and a smile.

It is not our first time to order a take away from this restaurant, this time they mistakenly gave us pizza with olives instead of pizza with onion, since it was 10minutes drive to go back again my partner tried ringing them, the owner answered the phone but keep saying "hello hello" then hang up, tried to ring again and its the same thing. My partner was upset and shouted his anger not to the staff directly, he was upset of the situation. So I decided to call, I spoke to the owner and he apologise, he said to come back, but I insisted driving another 20mins back and forth, he said just call or come next day and we will sort this out, that he stated how busy they are that time (like doesn't want to deal with me), We ordered again after few days, I picked up the order and was talking to the owner and told him about our conversation last time (if he remember) I ask for a discount if no then its no, but saying "you guys should be the one paying us because of your partner abusing my staff" I'm giving a negative feedback not because the owner did not give us a discount it is because I don't feel that the owner acknowledge their own mistake and try to blame us that its our fault.
