Our mini break of three nights at Byron Quarter apartments was great - with the exception of having to walk up steep flights of stairs lifting luggage / supplies and shopping.... But, probably good exercise and beneficial to the waist lines after all the good cafes and restaurants nearby. Mexican downstairs ✔️ Bang Bang across the road and a 15 minute walk to the restaurant 'Beach at Byron'. Our apartment was on the third and top floor. No. 19. It was great. Plenty of space with a full size fridge; walk in shower and a bath. One basin in the bathroom, shared with a dryer and washing machine, was a bit tight at times. Separate toilet. A decent size balcony with tropical foliage works as a privacy screen. The big clock in the kitchen needs fixing or taken down. The tv audio very hard to hear and when the volume is turned up, the sound bounces / exhoes off the walls. The main bed is on wheels and not secured to a bed head. We'd still return to this apartment as it was quiet, very clean and spacious with everything you need, including a mini nespresso machine, microwave and oven - although we didn't use the later. Secure parking is underneath the building from Fletcher Lane. If you drive a car low to the ground...it will certainly scrape underneath....so...slow and careful. Each entrance is accessible via key card before 8 am and after 8 pm. The location is perfect and walking distance to lots on offer. The reception guys...
Read moreAs a family, the apartments were perfect. They have two bedrooms and one bathroom and are very spacious and roomy.||There is a huge kitchen with all the amenities such as a microwave, a big fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, and a line on the balcony for drying.||The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms unexpectedly quiet at night, given the close proximity to the action of Byron Bay.||The modern beachy decor was nicely presented and really suited the location. ||The only downsides were that there was no room service available, which meant we didn't get fresh towels or more toilet paper the whole time, and as a family staying for 5 nights, it did impact us. Although there is an Aldi close so we could buy items such as toilet paper and laundry powder, but it would be nice to provide these these to guests. Also, the couch is old and sagging, and although it looks great, it could do with replacing. ||There is a plunge pool that is oddly located inside a Mexican restaurant, which you have to walk through to get access. Different having diners looking at us while swimming.||We really enjoyed staying at these apartments. The location is amazing and so close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it, especially...
Read moreCentral Byron Bay stay! We stayed five nights in a third floor one-bedroom apartment in a good location right in the centre of Byron Bay, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The apartment had a compact bathroom with good shower, washing machine and dryer, and a combined kitchen/bedroom/dining/living room area with flat screen TV. The kitchen was quite well-equipped with glassware, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, fridge freezer, kettle, pod coffee machine, electric cooktop, microwave, oven, toaster, and dishwasher. We found our bed a little too soft for comfort – but that is just a personal preference thing. We noticed the parking is not secure as the gate is open during the day. At night, when the gate is closed, anyone can still access the garage via the building entrances which are unlocked all day. (Keycard accesses are not activated.) Note that there is no lift in this complex – so if you have mobility issues you will need to request a ground floor apartment. Otherwise, this is a great option for a central...
