I have previously written directly to Belle Maison providing feedback from our experience in the hope that they would at least acknowledge receipt of my concerns. Not to be so now everyone can read about it. My direct email to Belle Maison follows -
To whom it may concern
We recently stayed for 6 nights at Belle Maison and we were ultimately disappointed overall. I offer this as observations and reasons why we will not stay at Belle Maison again.
The following is a list of the issues that Belle Maison presents to its customers - do with it what you wish. Wifi - limited (useless) - amateurish - overseas visitors would think they have arrived in a banana republic. The so-called free wifi also interferes with “hot spotting” from mobile devices. What does the management here do about that? - provide a phone number to ring - buck passing. If you advertise free wifi it should be full access. Toilet paper - 2 ply and not enough for three people for 6 day's. Then there is a label on the fridge with a price list - $1.50 for one roll of 2 ply toilet paper - not cheap and false economy. Management doesn’t think too much about the guests. Shower - door seal is non-existent - water escaped onto the bathroom floor creating a slip hazard - particularly dangerous for the elderly and disabled. Mop - so old and dried up it’s useless so bath mats have to be used to dry the floor in the bathroom, then dried or washed and dried. Garbage bag - 1 only for 6 days - we have to do the cleaners job and get rid of our garbage but only one kitchen garbage bag - cheap. Maintenance man - attitude - aggressive and rude - I wasn’t aware that the garage doors were automatic from inside and this very poor excuse for a public relations expert started yelling at me because I was on the right hand side of the driveway using the tag reader to open the gate. He said there are signs everywhere. He was right, there are many signs saying “keep left” but only one saying automatic door that I finally identified at the gate. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name. Garage signage - plenty of keep left signs but only one indicating that exciting is auto opening. Why is there a tag reader on the right hand side 10 m before gate? The entry/exit process should be fully documented and not trusted to the receptionist to pass onto guests and then relying on guests memory. Nothing appealing about this and it’s unacceptable.
I would like to think that this email is used as possible business improvement opportunities and of course I have sent this direct rather than posting a Google or TripAdvisor review because I believe in providing feedback directly for internal responses.
I don’t need a response but it would be welcomed should that be provided. I don’t want anything from...

Read moreMay 2022. Its been 5 years since we were last able to visit Gold Coast and Belle Maison. Stayed in 2 bedroom seaview apartment - on 12th floor. As usual we were late arrival (1am), the process is quick and easy||||Its well appointed with almost everything you need. All was clean, fairly fresh in appearance and quietly decorated. Of course location is excellent with walk to local shops and restaurants, beach and park, and tram is 1 block away. Undercover secure parking was part of our deal, as usual.||||The apartment size is excellent with big loungeroom (plenty of light from large windows) with comfy louge suite and large screen TV - which was a plasma TV (heat the room if your cold LOL), there is a small balcony with nice view. The lounge had an aircon.||||Very large main bedroom (I think its a king bed) with big walkin closet and big ensuite bathroom fitted with bath and shower. As per prvious stays the bed is OK, but its too soft for my liking. Really not sure if it needed updating or just isnt to my liking. Plenty of pillows, a bed throw and blanket is available. The bedrooms wernt air conditioned, but did have ceiling fans||||The 2nd bedroom is good size with 2 single beds, a walkin closet and walk though to a reasonably sized bathroom.||||Youve got a fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. Heaps of plates, cutlery and cooking utensils. Toaster and kettle are these.||||There is a laundry with washer and dryer.||||Whilst they do provide towels, basic soap and some toilet paper - for a longer stay I'd suggest bring your own towels and bring/get some of the basic amentities from Woolies.||||Whilst the apartment was clean generally, the housekeeping is a little less detailled than perhaps it should be. There was some blood stains on the window sill (thats what it looked like), and some of the cups were cleaned - but still had food residue.||||The pool area, with spa and sauna were good, with the pool available until 9pm!||||The front desk staff were friendly and accomodating when we needed to extend.||||All in all, the stay was comfortable, great location...just easy! The pricing is quite reasonable. We will stay here again on our...
