Wine Village Motor Inn — Hotel in Hume

Would have to be the worst treatment I have ever endured from hotel management. As someone who travels frequently and also hosts properties I would not expect guests to return after being treated the way I was. I am a 41yo women who was holidaying with friends and attended the hotel to collect a friend for breakfast and was abused as soon as I stepped onto the driveway and told I was not permitted to even step on the premises if I was not a guest. I had advised that I was simply meeting a guest to take her to breakfast and I didn’t need accomodation and was told quite aggressively ‘we don’t want you anyway’ Utterly stumped at the behaviour as I was not at all rude, intoxicated or causing any disturbance in the 5mins I was on the property. This was a great location. 100m to the town and its various places to have breakfast of dinner.|Close to the De Bortolli tasting rooms and restaurant, which is first class, 50m. The wineries are also with in a 25 min travel circle so really easy to get to them.|There is of street parking, a pool, laundry but no breakfast service but there are several great places 100m away.|Rooms are very clean and well maintained and I have stayed in a lot that would not come close to the high standard here.|Sue is an excellent proprietor with a good sense of humour, very informative about the town and activities...

Top notch motel. Just across the road from the excellent Tuilleries restaurant. This was our first long trip in our new electric car. We charged our Hyundai Kona at no cost using the Tesla charger outside our room so if booking ( directly with the motel) tell the owners you need to charge. We had to download the Tesla app. Once we sorted this out it was fairly straightforward: our car initially said it was not charging so I had to use the screen in the car to accept charging.
