I’m bewildered that you can be openly threatened and abused by 2 chefs in a restaurant, simply by making a complaint, in relation to waiting 90 minutes, for an inedible meal.
It’s appalling and despicable behaviour, especially in front of my family/friends, whom were all very upset, let alone the other customers present. Shouting at customers is never acceptable, no matter what the scenario.
I find it absolutely deplorable to be served 2 minute noodles, laden with oily vegetables in a restaurant. Instead of an apology, I was confronted by a rude and aggressive chef? Trying to intimidate me with verbal threats.
I’m bereft how he could possibly admit, that it’s perfectly fine, to be serving 2 minute noodles at their restaurant? What a joke.
If the kitchen doesn’t have the capability to serve their patrons in a timely manner. Show some common courtesy and give people notification, that the wait time will be longer than an hour.
Don’t be greedy and disrespectful, treating customers with disdain. Threats and abuse should never be a part of workplace procedures and protocol. It’s abhorrent and in breach of the fair work act 2009.
On a positive note, Paul, the owner/manager of the star hotel, which is attached to the restaurant (no affiliation), is a genuine and stand up guy. Much respect goes to him.
Life is too short to be subject to threatening abuse and paltry food. Save your money for a few cold ones at the bar with Paul, enjoy a laugh and have your 2 minute noodles at home for a $1, instead of paying $20 at...
Read moreI dont like to leave negative reviews, however the service was horrible. We phoned in our order and were told that it was a 1hr wait, we got there to pick it up and were told it will be another 5mins....40mins after being told that our expensive meal arrived finally, 1hr 45min after the order had been phoned in. Then we were charged $47 for 2 meals and a small specail fried rice, not sure whats so special about it when it was mostly peas, there was only 3 tiny prawns and about a teaspoon of cheap prediced ham so clearly nothing specail. The meals were nice but had alot of liquid in them and the lid wasnt on one correctly and it had leaked in the bag luckily it didnt get out of the bag in my car. The service was horrible, the waitress was abrupt on the phone and not polite at all. When we went in none of the waitresses smiled or greeted us, the "waiting area" was cramped in near and behind the door which opens up onto the waiting chairs, the counter looked untidy and sadly it didnt look clean. Very sad to see this is the way it is now. I used to love going here even had my 21st here however after last night we arent in a...
Read moreStill waiting for our food after 45 minutes!! Tables around us who came much later were served before us! When I asked where our order was they apologised and said it’s coming ! Still waiting!!!
After another 15 minutes part of the order arrived! We were told ‘very sorry about the wait the chef messed up’ not good enough! Still waiting!
Part order arrived and my vegetarian Singapore noodles arrived after a further 10 minutes part.
Very disappointed- the noodles were gluggy and overcooked and wet! Not at all like Singapore noodles are meant to be.
Overall a poor experience.
Spent $57.50 on 2 pieces of spring rolls, small steamed rice, vegetarian Singapore noodles and a pork dish. Spent $22 on draft beer waiting for dinner. My grandson was falling asleep by the time...
