Wouldn’t recommend this place....probably the grossest place I’ve ever stayed! The kitchen and lounge appeared clean although went to cook dinner and couldn’t because the saucepan was unusable. Food on the kitchen ceiling.||The bedroom walls were filthy, appeared to be vomit stains on the walls and dirt beyond dirt everywhere on the walls. Even a blood stain on the wall and filthy marks on the light switch. The dooner was beyond disgusting heaps of stains like large orange vomit looking stains. Bathroom was kind of clean but someone’s old soap was left. Stayed at friends houses some of the nights because I was grossed out. Was told I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom but they locked the second room and the main bathroom so I couldn’t use it! Thats not an upgrade, was more of a downgrade having to use a crammy ensuite bathroom instead of the main one. Half way through my stay I asked for the main bathroom to be unlocked because I had no room to get ready for the day in the tiny ensuite, they did come and open this for me which I was thankful for. The nights I did stay at the hotel the people in the floor above me were loud every night until minimum 1am. There were people on my floor also having parties. Strong Marijuana smell when I went to do my laundry. Lots of dodgy looking people staying in this building which was a bit uncomfortable. There was spit all down the lift doors which was beyond discusting. Don’t do it, if you do ask to view your room...
Read moreEnjoyed my second stay with City Edge Dandenong particularity due to the continued excellent customer service experience provided by the great staff at Reception. ||Fia on the front desk deserves extra credit for going above and beyond by generously and happily giving me her own butter when I forgot to buy some. She is a breathe of fresh air, so helpful and always with a lovely cheerful smile.||Unfortunately was kept awake until the early hours by guests in the room next door slamming and banging doors, loudly yelling and arguing, with one of the girls even using the intercom calling my room at 4am asking to be buzzed up as she’d been locked out by her friends but when I called the after hours hotel number the on site staff was fantastic to quickly and quietly resolve any further noise within a very short time.||The room had a great modern decor, the bed was quite large and comfortable, generous sized shower with nice strong water pressure. ||On return to my room on the 2nd day was pleasantly surprised to find that the room had been efficiently cleaned and a freshly made bed, clean towels and toiletries topped up which was a nice touch. ||Close walkable distance to local shops and yummy restaurants. Overall good value for money..||Happily recommend staying at City Edge Dandenong Apartments to anyone looking to book...
