I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Although the restaurant closes at 10 PM, I arrived at 9 PM to have dinner. However, by 9:10 PM, the staff began sweeping and cleaning under the tables and chairs using hand brooms, collecting trash near where I was eating.
This disrupted the peaceful atmosphere I was hoping for. The dust stirred up from the floor — including dirt tracked in from outside — was unsettling, especially for someone like me who is sensitive to it. It even felt like the dust could land on the food.
Moreover, the cleaning process seemed unorganized, with staff not coordinating well, and it gave an impression that cleanliness and respect for the customer were not handled thoughtfully. A restaurant should offer a relaxing environment where one can enjoy a meal, not feel rushed or disturbed by cleaning noises and activity.
I didn’t hear any calm music either — just noise and stress. Based on my experience over two consecutive nights, I cannot recommend this place to those seeking a peaceful dining experience. I suggest visiting other restaurants that offer a cleaner, more respectful, and more relaxing environment, with light background music and thoughtful staff behavior.
A restaurant should prioritize the comfort and well-being of its guests — not begin intrusive cleaning while customers are...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer alongside my family since this place opened, and have always praised the freshness and quality of their food. However, my recent experience left me deeply disappointed.
I ordered a mix and shahi, only to be shocked by what I received. The kebab was burnt outside and raw on the inside. Also, instead of the usual simple rice, they served qabuli palaw rice, which is much oilier, especially without raisins and carrots. On top of that, one salad included a special creature inside. A moth. How splendid.
When I raised my concerns, the explanation I received was that it was the last order of the day. Frankly, that’s unacceptable. Serving subpar food, regardless of the time, is not what I expect from a place I’ve supported for so long.
These are all trivial issues from a place with experienced employees. Please fix it and make the quality of your food consistent. Not a hit or miss as if it’s a game. And if you can’t make the order properly because of any reasons, just say so.
I truly wish this business to do well. Please get it back to the same quality as it was when it first...
Read moreOrdered a portion of rice with a chicken and a beef skewer, alongside a dish of mas.
Recieved my food relatively quick, 10-15 minutes and was pleased. The rice was fluffy, seemed pretty fresh and there was a good amount of it, I quite enjoyed the chicken skewer as it was packed with flavor, especially the smoky note which was probably from a charcoal grill. Although the beef was also flavorful, it was slightly too chewy for me, but it wasn't a big deal since that might be due to the cut of beef used. Price was slightly steep, around 30 dollars for the dish, a small bowl of maas (yoghurt) and a beverage but it wasn't a big deal.
Service was great, waiter was friendly and helped us out with orders. Witnessed staff actively cleaning tables and floors which is always a welcome sight.
Atmosphere was great too, comfortable chairs and tables, spacey environment so it didn't feel like I was cramped at all. Overall dark theme was good and nothing seemed to be out of the blue, although there wasn't any spectacular artwork and things of that nature, the setting did it's job.
