Quest Dandenong Central — Hotel in Melbourne

This is one of the nicest places I've stayed in a long time. The gentlemen who greeted me at the front desk were delightful. I was in a state of distress after experiencing a trauma, and they assured me that NO ONE would be getting in at night and that I was as safe as I could ever be. The room was well appointed with everything from a wonderful kitchen, including a dishwasher, an oven, microwave, cutlery, toaster, kettle and many other wonderful things that I was extremely impressed by. The lounge area was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the city, and a huge tv, with a comfy couch and the bedroom was amazing. The bed made me feel like I was a character in the '3 bears story', and I was sleeping in the best bed I've ever had. The were USB power points, as well as regular ones. The WiFi was perfect, and I felt like I was being treated to a truly wonderful experience. Thanks so much to the staff at The Quest hotel, who went above and beyond for me, especially as I was in such an upset state. If I could give ten stars, I would. Kindest regards to everyone at Quest, it was a calming and relaxing time for me, which is exactly what I needed that night, I wish I could have stayed longer, if not forever! Thanks...

I booked a one bedroom apartment for a 3 night stay while travelling for work, my first stay at a Quest venue.

Received a genuine warm & friendly welcome from the team. They explained whats nearby, car parking entry. Plenty of undercover parking with lift access.

The room was amazing, with stunning views.

Kitchen with fridge, cooktop, microwave & dishwasher. The bathroom was beautiful with a large rain showerhead. The washer & dryer in my room was very convenient.

The bed was super comfy, and the 2nd tv in the bedroom was great.

Nice lounge & huge tv in the lounge adjacent to the double glazed windows & doors keeping noise out.

The view from the balcony overlooking the station was gorgeous at night.

Lots of great restaurants & cafes within walking distance. There is an amazing cafe in the same building. Coffee is great, cakes are to die for, they do savory brekky & lunches too (closed Sundays)

The train station is an easy 5 minute stroll, local shopping centre 15 minutes.

Booked a room last minute for my partner who was in town for business. What a stuff around. Despite it being late in the afternoon, the room wasn't ready. Then he got into his room and it was a MESS. He had been sent to a room that had been used. During COVID times this is totally unacceptable. The phone in the room didn't work to ring reception so I had to do it from my home. We are now awaiting covid results as he hasn't been well and fear that perhaps the uncleaned room is the reason. On booking they didn't let us know they needed a deposit which was another hassle as we hadn't prepared for it. Its now 4 days later and we still don't have our deposit back which has left us struggling this week. We were told it would be 2 days and if it wasn't back to call the bank. The bank said the funds haven't been released. Also asked for a late checkout, I have a travel blog and have travelled extensively and usually the hourly late fee is waved. But not here. I suppose that's standard but I've never had to pay for checkout before...
