Albert Motel — Hotel in Moree

Our Rotary Club group from Sydney, recently visited Moree again and we stayed at The Albert Motel again.||We had problems with our train travel this visit, having to travel from Sydney to Moree by Coach, as our train to Moree was cancelled at the last minute. ||As we were now arriving late in the evening, the staff at the Albert Motel organised dinner for our group, and met us on our arrival. They certainly went out of their way to make us all feel welcome and comfortable after what was a very long trip. ||We have stayed at this Motel before on our regular visits to Moree and we have found all the staff to be very polite, kind and so helpful.||On our visits, we always stay in their Queen Deluxe rooms, which are large, very clean and so very comfortable.|The rooms also have all the necessary bits and pieces, tea, coffee, biscuits etc so that you can sit and relax and enjoy the moment.||This motel also has the advantage too, of being next door to the Moree Services Club, where we have enjoyed many delicious meals over time, ||Moree is a lovely place to visit, lots to see and do, so come and visit and book yourself into The Albert Motel where you will be well looked after by all those who work there.||From our Rotary group members, thank you so much to you all at the Albert Motel, for another great stay. Rooms are clean & spacious & well set out.... large shower area with a hand held shower head.... water pressure sufficient. When one does a lot of travelling for work it's interesting what captures your rating criteria🤔 Good size tv @ 44 inch? with Foxtel & streaming channels..... not stuck watching standard free to air channels 😥.... very boring..... again a nice basic plus. Room has a lounge & dining table for 2 adding comfort only problem is tv not positioned for watching from this location.... tv located face to bed which when watching you tend to fall to sleep 😴😴😴😴😴😴. Location is a big drawcard being next to the RSL with chargeback as an option (especially as one is on work trip not social) & big screen to watch the footy..... however wasn't happy as the 2nd game was not showing as club preferenced badge draw over game.....anyhow.... Mongolian lamb last nite was delish (I've Google review seperately) dilemma now what to have tonite? Breaky this morning from the Albert whilst basic with bacon, poached eggs on toast hit the spot. Carpark well proportioned with outside covered seating areas & BBQ's (another option for dining.... maybe next time) with tables & chairs. Motel well secured as a gated community.
