Moree Visitor Information Centre — Attraction in Moree

The first people I met when I moved to Moree were the beautiful team from the Moree Visitor Information Centre. The team left a great first impression of the town and were an excellent support when settling into Moree.

The information centre had local art, foods and giftware that gave a great insight into the local talent. They also provided booklets that included art trails, places to eat and drink, activities, etc. As a new community member they were invaluable resources.

A beautiful well presented facility with a lot of local Australian made products for sale. The staff were very friendly but struggled to provide much help with what to see and do in the local area. This was surprising as we actually ended up figuring out a lot of good things to see and do ourselves from the information we obtained from the brochures they had on display. I am putting a message out here for visitors in hope that people will be aware and cautious when visiting Moree.

I was visiting for work as a solo traveller in Moree and the motel I was staying at got broken into at 4 am. Doors were kicked and broken into, cash, cars and belongings taken. Multiple rooms were broken into.

Please take precautions when sleeping in your accomodation.
