Jackaroo Apartments-Motel — Hotel in Moree

We stayed three nights at the Jackaroo - other family members have stayed here several times, and keep coming back.||||All the rooms are on the ground floor so easy to get to. Our room was fresh, very clean, and very comfortable, and well-equipped, with a microwave, toaster, cutlery, plates, lots of tea and coffee supplies, everything you need. The bed was comfortable, and there was both a desk/work space and a comfortable armchair in our room. Everything looks like it's been recently refreshed, and feels very welcoming.||||There's also the Jillaroo coffee shop up the front for sandwiches, pies and sausage rolls, fresh muffins, smoothies, and good coffee.||||Parking is secure and the road out the front is pretty quiet - it used to be the highway but not any more, so there's not a lot of traffic. It's close to the artesian baths, and has a pool on site as well. There's also a little barbecue area with some comfortable chairs around the side with shade sails over the top.||||The owners and everyone on staff are super friendly and welcoming. I stay in a lot of motels as part of my work. Some are better than others, but usually nothing to rave about. This place is a gem. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet. When I walked into the room during the very hot day, it was cool even before I turned on the air. It is a close walk to the public pool/hot spas, and many food options are within a 1 minute walk. However the biggest thing this place has going for it is the people. The level of customer service I received here from the manager (owner?) Dobri was above and beyond. I foolishly left something behind, and Dobri let me know and got it back to me, as if it was no big deal. Well it was a big deal to me!
