Next time I would probably pick a different unit. This unit was very clean, well equipped and maintained. Located In the heart of the best part of caloundra, especially if your there to enjoy the beach. The views from the living area are superb but you have to pull your chair right up next to the window to stir and enjoy because they are too high. The rooftop bbq area is nice but not too spend anytime at because the views are not of the beach but of all the other apartments. So we didn't use it. The worst part for us was the queen bed. The springs felt all over the place, we really struggled to sleep well. Nothing luxury about it at all. The other negative was the 2 carpark. Unless you have a very small car you may have trouble parking with ease, it was located in the back corner and took 2 off us. to park our safely. Except for bedtime, our stay...

In a prime position on the Esplanade overlooking Bullock Beach, in the heart of the action. This modern apartment complex consists of three blocks surrounding a holdout shack. The one bedroom apartment we booked was spacious and reasonably well appointed, including two bathrooms (other bedrooms were locked off). Everything worked to expectations. We were in the North block, back from the street and overlooking the holdout shack, which meant the long side, with a long balcony, faced the view (and shack) and also fronted the street at the rear. I would not book in the North block again, as I found the layout awkward and the "beach" experience remote (that shack again). In addition, fronting two streets resulted in it being surprisingly noisy. Our ASX fitted neatly in the lockup garage and we only had three flights of stairs to climb to...

Management were lovely but that"s where it finished. The unit we had was in desperate need of updating.Dripping taps, poor plumbing, very outdated fittings, sticky floors and the bed in the main bedroom was the most uncomfortable one I've slept in. The unit was filled with old furniture of a very large style which created a very cluttered feel. Windows were extremely hard to open as well. The location is wonderful and the pricing would have been fine but the particular unit we had certainly shouldn't be priced as some of the other renovated ones.
