First time visit. Will be my last! Caloundra local. I do not usually eat out but try restaurants at least once in local area if menu offers vegan option. It has only taken me 20 years to try this one! Phoned previously to get a run down on vegan options. Was definitely told they have vegan cheese. ( Yes I have been vegan for 47 yrs...not a fad) Ordered EXTREMELY overpriced Nachos $27 + $1. So no vegan option to replace sour cream but had to pay extra $1 for the vegan aioli (even though it came with aioli for non vegan)?? There is no other way for me to describe the plate of food that I received other than...DEAD! It looked unappetizing! As for taste...I was seated looking out over the ocean and could not help but think there was more salt in my meal than in the sea! If it had not cost so much and I was not very hungry I would have walked! As I mentioned $28 for about 12 cornchips that were oily & overfried, NO vegan cheese that I could detect (& it was still really salty) I specifically inquired if it came with avocado/quacomale (yes) but the teaspoon amount I received was hardly worth the effort. So the fried and very oily cactus, onion combo was the main stay of the meal with a scattering of black beans and an average squirt of the vegan aioli. Could not help but think there was no life in this food and what a waste of money. The decor was ok but it was not possible to remove myself from the loud thumping of the music within the actual premises other than to sit out the front glass covered enclosed porch area at a bench on chairs that were not proportional to the height of the bench...still having to endure the LOUD music though slightly muted! Only plus was looking across the road viewing the water. BUT, I am tossing up whether this place or Tex Mex in Caloundra main Street is the worst meal (not just Mexican) I have EVER had. Oh and there is NO service in this establishment other than to bring your food to your table...or bench! So very disappointed! Ps: I felt like I had discomfort in my stomach for about 4 hrs later and no it was not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ate tonight at Caloundra as we live there and I have been wanting to try the restaurant for awhile. Both meals where served up cold with the cheese congealed and where completely bland in taste,, no spice, no fresh herbs and the worst salsa of tomato and onion with no seasoning at all. So dissapointed! No flavour and no salt n pepper available on tables to even help it! His Burrito he called gluggy... My nachos ..what are those square bits of cold steak that resemble cat food????? Service was not great nor honestly friendly. I saw people lining like a cattle yard to the place and luckily I did not have to, but if I did I would have been even more dissapointed .Taco Bell is tastier. Sorry as a local I could not recommend as there is no love in that food. . The two stars our for my gorgeous view whilst I was there. and the design elements of the...

So I went to their website, which isnāt a website at all itās a Facebook site, I donāt have an account so couldnāt access it. Second phone call - told a new person I couldnāt order as there is no website just Facebook, she said itās on Google and to try again. Once again I searched Google and found absolutely no way to order takeaway. Third phone call, was placed on hold while new person spoke to person 2 about why I canāt find their order system- person 3 told me itās on their Facebook and maybe because I donāt have an account I canāt order. He told me he will see if he can do a phone order but will need to input my credit card details and would need to wait until the line cleared to do so. Clearly this place isnāt a...
