Had a great time today visiting Rex Bachaus-Smith's art exhibition at the Caloundra Regional gallery. I am a bit biased I know being the grandson of the artist but it was phenomenal to see all of my pop's artwork over the last 60 years on display for everyone to enjoy and appreciate. Thank you Caloundra Regional Gallery for organising such a great event!

This place has a new exhibit nearly every month, and I enjoyed it so much over the last few years that I joined Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra, they have great events, invitations to launches, etc. This gallery is the best on the coast by far and it’s free, can’t beat that. Volunteers are so friendly too, you always get a nice chat and a smile 😊

My brother and I attended the gallery during their 2025 Art Awards. The art on display was of an excellent calibre.

‘Rock Pool’, ‘The Swimmer’ and ‘Forest Dreams’ were exceptional, and the variety of different artistic mediums was notable. A good way to spend an hour.
