Every time I visit Caloundra, I have eaten here, however I won’t be back again. They stuffed up my order and said they remade it but clearly didn’t. The service & attitude of the staff was absolutely terrible and the food was subpar. Expensive & disappointing.
Edit: Thanks for your response Cameron. I actually ordered the 'Maple Bacon', and then asked only for it to have just cheese and bacon with the patty but everything else removed. That was no problem and clearly communicated. I then saw that there was a sign on the counter saying to swap to the Plant Based Patty for $3. I told the waitress that I would like to do that, and she cut me off and said that you can't swap like that, (?) but she will put it through as the 'Plant Based Burger' with cheese and bacon, like you said she did. No worries. When it arrived, I noticed it still had mayo and mustard, which I cannot eat, and told the younger waitress I ordered a burger with just a plant based patty, cheese + bacon and if I could please get it taken off. It made me feel bad asking but she said it was absolutely not an issue. Clearly this was just a miscommunication between the original waitress and I, as she didn't understand I still didn't want the condiments on the plant based burger. The original waitress who served me came over and completely went off at me yelling, in an aggressive and condescending manner, saying I was wrong and didn't order a plain burger. It was unnecessary, and I was shocked, as a business owner myself, that someone would ever speak to a customer like that, regardless if they thought they were in the wrong. People were staring as this was happening as it was so intense - I was actually just in shock. I tried to explain what happened to her, and even offered to pay for a new burger ($19), and she kept saying it was fine but continued to berate me that I was wrong, and said a new burger would get made. A new burger wasn't made as there was still remnants of mayo & mustard on the 'new' one. My partner and I left incredibly shook up at the service & experience. I'll also add, the waitress serving me originally was fine, until she cut me off, but her service was still good. It was only when something went wrong that she displayed poor customer service. Perhaps, she gets compliments like you say she does from customers, because their order is fine, but reading previous 1 star experiences, a lot seem to mention a woman or man yelling at them... Before this, it was our favourite joint to go to and we would rave about it to our friends who visit Caloundra. I actually didn't write what happened in the original review because I thought of it as just a misfortunate slip up and the waitress was having a bad day, so other people looking at these reviews didn't need to know about it, but I must correct your response so other reviewers can steer clear of the horrific service & attitude. Thanks for your response Cameron, I do respect it, but I hope you realise, as a business owner, the behaviour was embarrassing and arrogant, whether you think you're in the right or not....

I was shocked by the terrible service at this place. When I ordered from the owner, a short older lady, I asked if they could cut my two burgers in half. She refused, so I asked if they could serve them on a plate instead, and she agreed.
However, when the burgers arrived in a takeaway bag, I politely asked the younger, overweight front-of-house worker if I could get a knife and plate. Her reaction was extremely rude. I couldn't help but think she must be a burger connoisseur, given her, ahem, ample experience.
Things only got worse from there. When I returned the plate and asked for more napkins, the owner responded to my thank you with sarcasm. And when I asked her what the problem was, the younger worker completely lost it. She screamed "Get out, get out, get out!" multiple times, her face reddening with rage, and got to within 10cm of my face. I was taken aback by her aggressive behavior.
Needless to say, I won't be back. This was, hands down, the worst Hello Harry experience...
Read moreThe burgers took 45 minutes to arrive after being told it would take 20 minutes. When we enquired about our food we were told very rudely to wait outside and that nothing was ready. The serving woman (dark hair, very aggressive) berated other customers waiting and belittled a gentleman who (quite politely) asked how much longer his meal would be. I eventually received my order by the rude woman, and I asked if my friends burger was ready (who was on the same order but paid separately) and was verbally attacked by the server who got right up in my face and told me I was wrong. when my friends burger was bought out, the server made a point of shouting “sep-ar-ate or-ders”, which caused the restaurant of customers and ones waiting outside to stare. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner, and I feel very embarrassed after this experience. I DO NOT recommend this place unless this server is removed. Everyone else working was...
