We stayed here for an Easter ski break, staying 3 nights as a family of 5. I would go with 4.5 stars if Tripadvisor would let me.||The rooms and hotel in general is clean, modern and in good condition. Our suite had 2 small rooms with bathrooms and a lounge/dining area. There was plenty of good storage in the room. The room we had was light, with a view overlooking the river and was spotlessly clean.||The boot room was convenient and well appointed although the single locker we had was a bit of a squeeze for 5.||For skiing, you are literally 1 minute from the little SchlossKopfe lift to OberLech and across the road from the end of the 210 run down from the top of the PetersBoden lift. It is very convenient indeed. Bear in mind during late season at least, the 210 is pretty slushy and cut up by the end of the day so you need to be a decent skier to navigate it, despite it being a shallow, wide blue.||This is very much a DIY apartment style hotel. Most of breakfast is self serve (and self-make such as waffles, toast and eggs) but the choice and quality was excellent. The same goes for booking taxis, luggage etc||It is a 7min walk from the centre of town so don’t do what we did and book you skis from Strolz! Book in a nearby rental shop and store them at the hotel. Also just bear in mind there is no bar or restaurant at the hotel and you are quite a way from the centre of Lech where the action is. Plan accordingly.||A good stay at a very fair price and super convenient for the excellent Aarlberg ski area....
Read moreWe stayed at Laurus for our skiing holiday in February 2020. We booked an apartment and a double room. The location is nice, close to the lift, but beware that the hotel is right in the bank of a river, this opening windows at night is not possible due to the noise. The rooms are extremely small, the bathrooms are tiny. Hardly enough for one person, and with a small radiator, not sufficient for all the skiing clothes to be dried. The hotel facilities are clean and relatively new. The interior is functional, but without any details that give it coziness. The wellness facilities are nice. There is a relatively large pool and two saunas. A separate note in breakfast. The offer is poor, and staff is extremely unfriendly. We had a bad consciousness asking for a second coffee. On one morning at 8.30, apparently there were no more eggs one could boil. Fruit salad looks at least 2-3 days old. Definitely not a level of a four star hotel. All is all we were disappointed with the hotel and would...
Read moreThe reviews for this hotel, which sits a short walk away from the center of the town, are outstanding. Therefore, we were already looking forward to our stay. Our expectations were surpassed on all fronts. This is an unbelievable place. The building is incredibly well maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and very cozy. The spa area is fantastic, with a very nice pool, sauna, steam room, and more. There is a really well outfitted playroom for the kids, and the dining area is really nice. Speaking of dining, the breakfast is superb, with anything you could wish for to get ready for the day's skiing. Lastly, the staff are brilliant. They are beyond helpful, really making your stay a pampered treat. One of the ladies actually made us some cake when my wife, daughter and I were too tired to go out for a light dinner. I was floored at how nice they were. I would highly recommend this place if you are coming to Lech. It will make your vacation...
