We ski for two weeks twice a year, nearly always trying out new resorts, and the Panorama is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Our Superior double room on the 4th floor was quiet, very spacious, with big lit cupboards, and (a first) more hangers than we had clothes to put on them! The bed, desk, and sofa with table all have excellent lighting, as does the bathroom, with a big bath and heated towel rail. There is open fronted hanging space for ski kit, and a heated boot/ski locker downstairs. A plentiful breakfast caters for all needs & nationalities, full marks for the freshly made fruit salad. There is a ‘high tea’ provided between 3.30-5pm, Apple Strudel or similar plus very good home made soup or pasta. If the weather allows there are comfortable chairs placed outside to sit in the sun with a beer at the end of a days skiing.||The hotel is in a quiet sunny position off the main road, a free ski bus stops right outside, or it is a 10 minute walk to the nearest lift. There is no evening meal offered, so if you need more than high tea, again it’s a 10 minute walk into town.||Heike and Gunther are alway quietly on hand, speak excellent English, and ready to help with any problems. I broke my collarbone and they were kindness itself with offers of extra pillows etc. Their staff were also smiling, friendly and very efficient.||Our only quibble is that there is no option to make tea or coffee in your room, free with breakfast but has to be purchased after that. Being Brits we really missed our early morning...
Read moreWelcoming, homey and beautiful! A flawless experience, I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are superb, modern and cozy with plenty of closet room to neatly tuck away all your winter clothing and accessories. The spa is fantastic— candle lights, modern, clean, it's so nice after a ski day to go there and relax. Though at first glance if you've never been to Lech it may seem that the hotel is a little walk from the center but it's actually just about a five minute walk from all the restaurants, bars and shops. Panorama has the most charming! You pass gorgeous chalets and can listen to the river on your walk. I love it! And if it's not your day to go for a short walk, there is a bus that stops right in front of the hotel. You can also ski straight to the hotel! What I love is that you truly feel at home away from home. Also the breakfast buffet is truly scrumptious from healthy to hearty, it's a wonderful way to...
Read moreWe just returned home after spending four wonderful nights at the hotel....definitely the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the Grabher family and their staff gave us a warm welcome and were very accommodating. The hotel is immaculate, rooms very comfortable and we really enjoyed the spa after skiing all day. The breakfast which is included is plentiful, and we enjoyed the late afternoon complimentary snacks....the apple strudel was the best I tasted! The small local bus stops directly in front of the hotel....very handy if you time it properly. Otherwise, the center of town is a short walk. ||We hope to visit again next...
