Seeterrassencamping Wolfgangsee — Hotel in Sankt Gilgen

We stayed here for 5 nights in August. We loved the site, the family that own it were all very friendly and we got a warm reception. The pitch we were allocated was on the front line with a fantastic view over the lake. The facilities were super clean all the time, we had read reviews before about the rules and regulations but this suited us fine it means everyone respects the facilities and other campers. The beach was lovely and right in front of the campsite. We had our dogs with us and the small dog beach to the left of the main beach area was just perfect. We cycled into St Wolfgang which is 5 minutes by bike. This was our first time here but can't wait to return next year if possible. Well done to the owners. Excellent location for camping with private beach and separate beach for dogs. The campsite is well maintained and clean. The only annoyance is that every little additional amenity is charged extra which it a bit petty. Even though we paid around €35 per night we had to pay 80c every time we wanted a 5 minute shower which was a bit ridiculous. The list goes on… you want to use the fridge, freezer, washing machine, paddle board etc you had to payout for that too? Why bother with all this admin and tokens for just a few euros? It would be better to pay a ‘nice price’ and enjoy ourselves rather than being charged to do anything extra at all! I’m surprised i wasn’t charged to use the bins or...

Wow! What a site! It's fabulous 🤩 |excellent location by the lake, with pitches overlooking the lake and mountain views. Everything is VERY clean and well maintained.|excellent showers, very clean washing machine and tumble dryer. Clean washing-up facilities with hot water and also a microwave and hotplate etc.|Lovely family running the site who are so very helpful and friendly.
