Ledererhaus - Genuss in der Seevilla — Restaurant in St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut

So this place is one of a kind. We live in Munich but happily jump onto 2.5 h drive to eat the most tender and mouth satisfying steak. The surrounding is just breathtaking and the care you receive makes you feel like royalty. Not only the tables are far enough from each other that everyone can have their full privacy, you get multiple “extra” starters of fantastic quality but the service… oh my. Have never experienced such a good service. The waiter was serving our cutlery with white gloves. This is the amount of details that this restaurant (and hotel) takes care about. I don’t need to talk about the basics like great selection of wines, incredible meals and extremely friendly service. It’s the details both in the whole experience as well as in aesthetics that make me love this place. It’s worth to travel few hours to have this experience! Honestly I just don’t understand how this place got צמ4.6 The service was one of the worst I ever experienced Our waiter ( she removed her name tag so I can’t tell you her name ) Was super rude and aggressive .. we waited for starters for one hour and mains for 2 hours !!

The table is a mess … didn’t clear or clean the table bw firsts and mains ..

One good thing - the food is amazing .. hats off to the chef !! I have a food blog (28,000k followers ) I would recommend the food but definitely not the service ..

There was one waiter ( David from Italy ) He is so polite and nice !!! Thanks to him we decided to stay and not leave !!

Beautifully furnished and quality of food is high. We were a party of 3 and shared the grilled octopus and deep fried cauliflower for appetisers followed by steak and trout for main dishes. The vegetable appetiser was prepared really well and was really delicious. The octopus legs were good too, very tasty. The steak was tender and the trout was tender and not overcooked. A star less because we asked for mustard, the staff acknowledged our request but it took so long to come and when we reminded them again of our request they were actually not familiar with what mustard was (why didnt they check with us in the first place?)....
