After a disastrous lunch today our team decided to visit praasad paradise to try out the local seafood cuisine. What looked very fancy from the outside and the great environment sitting inside was something so disastrous that none of us foresaw.

I came to the hotel a bit later than others as I had to carry out some personal tasks but once I arrived I was amazed by the environment. It is very lively and the place itself is quite cool probably as it's directly by the beach. Sitting arrangements are also great, we were 8 people and as you can see from the pictures we had more than enough space.

Now let's come to the disasters. Let's start with ordering. Usually you'd expect a waiter to come take your order right? WRONG, you gotta go downstairs to place the order. Okay fine we got that and it's okay for some place to have separate rules. Okay orders placed everything is fine I came in and saw that our team had already ordered everything.

We sit for a while and after some time they set up the table (put up plates and cutleries). Do note they never gave us any forks at that time. Now after 15 minutes of setting up the table we get our appetizers the cashew nut salad.

Apparently it contained chicken and prawn inside but honestly I felt all of it was chicken no prawn. Even some other people on my team said the same thing. So the salad was okayish I guess and then the eternal wait for the main dishes started.

Also remember they still didn't give us any forks. I called out many waiters during that time but none of them were "free" enough.

So after waiting for more than an hour almost 1.5 hours the main dishes started rolling in. Before serving the main dish one of the waiters was kind enough to finally give us the forks.

So for our mains we took 2 red snappers, 4 crabs, 2 scuttle fish, tandoori chicken, tandoori prawn or BBQ prawn; honestly don't know the difference; and naans. We also had fried rice in the order but they messed it up and forgot to serve it to us the entire time.

Even we forgot about the fried rice until we were done stuffing the foods! After this we talked with the waiter to get it removed which they were kind enough to do.

Now for the food taste, it was actually very good except for the prawn. Their only saving grace was the food or else it's just another expensive place in town serving trash at ridiculous prices.

So yeah aside from their disastrous service their food was quite good. And they did later apologize for their bad service. They also explained this was due to them being understaffed as most of their waiters were at a party which they were the caterer for and the 2 waiters on site were overwhelmed.

All in all good food but bad service, would try again one more time to check if their service did improve or not you guys should check them out as well and let me know how it was for you maybe I can...
