I'm extremely disappointed with Galesia Hotel and Resort Ltd. The service was absolutely terrible. The room was not cleaned properly, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was far below standard. It felt like basic maintenance was completely ignored, and the staff seemed indifferent to these issues. The overall experience was far from what I expected, and I certainly won’t be returning. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or pleasant stay.
To make matters worse, I ordered mutton biryani, and they charged me 1500 BDT for it! The quality was shocking—it looked and tasted like something worth 100 BDT at best. So the room needs renovation.The permanent smell of mold and dampness in the room, so I could not sleep well. It was not possible to open the windows.Only two socket in the room and one of them ,near the bed, do not operate. So not possible to connect the led lamp and read. One of the two bed lamps do not opetate too. We saw a rat running across the restaurant- so you can guess the sanitary conditions. Breakfasts are ordinary and not rich. Only instant coffee! In my colleague's room 1001 there were some problem with hot water- it had to wait for hot water about 15 minutes after opening the water tap. Smell in his room was the same. I spent 3 nights in this hotel and the second day I saw several red ants at various places on my bed and asked for a change of rooms. But they kept on repeatedly rejecting my request saying they will spray something to drive away the ants. However, proper cleaning and pest control was something which was to be done before my check-in and not with me in the room.
