Imperial Swiss Garden — Hotel in Dhaka Metropolitan

Average rooms and decent service. In fact I had to change the room offered because there was a plumbing problem

Having experienced better options across South East Asia @50USD, wether Dhaka is expensive or this location was, I will leave it to the reader

I was visiting a friend at Banani which is why I stayed here for 7 days

Standard linen, old and poorly maintained carpets, basic toiletries are on offer

The breakfast is neither Indian, Western nor Bangla, and is really a poor mix of all. Veg Chow or Fried rice on a Breakfast menu looks clearly a lack of culinary ideas or laziness to pass on the previous night left over? Pancake or French toast, cereals and eggs on order along with Toast, butter and jam was manageable combos

I liked the fresh fruit juice the most everyday, leave you to understand what extent the most important meal of the day became for me

Location is quite central and in fact in a very quite, safe and clean area - all points get accumulated her, as safety in Dhaka can sometimes become the only reason

I had to travel to Dhaka for an International Conference and all hotels were fully booked. So, my travel agent booked me at Hotel Swiss Garden, where I had an excellent experience. Very good location, excellent service and friendly staff, big and clean rooms. All comfort. It has a small restaurant with buffet breakfast included and good food for lunch and dinner.||I was a woman travelling alone for work and I felt very safe in this hotel.||It also has the possibility of hiring a car with an excellent driver to go around the city.||Pick up and delivered at International airport are included in the...

Sub par hotel. The hotel and its rooms had a damp smell all through. Facilities in the property are basic and just to tick the boxes, not really worth using. Breakfast is limited variety but decent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

However, you must check the license of the drivers they provide for pick up and drop to the airport. I recently had a horrible time reaching the airport because my driver's license had expired. Many such drivers in Dhaka and in Bangladesh don't have valid or even a single license and registration done for vehicles. So kindly check this before you take cabs...
