Everything about this steakhouse is impressive!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by two friendly staff members who served us a welcome soup in a cup—an unexpected but delightful appetizer. What truly stood out was their thoughtfulness in providing a separate cup for our 1.5-year-old daughter, something most restaurants don’t usually consider. She loved it so much that we had to ask for a refill!

Now, onto the food. We ordered the Maverick Platter (999/-). The steak was good—not exceptional, but enjoyable. The sides were generous in portion and well-prepared. At this price, the platter felt like good value, though I personally didn’t care for the calamari/squid curry.

The real star of the meal was the Jamaican Chicken (555/-)—absolutely phenomenal! The full boneless chicken leg was grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. We paired it with mac & cheese and Mexican rice, both of which were tasty, though I regretted not opting for mashed potatoes instead, since our other platter already included the same rice. We also ordered an extra side of sautéed mushrooms, but unfortunately, it fell below expectations.

My wife had a cappuccino, and while I don’t drink coffee, she found it to be just average.

The total bill came to just under 2,000/-, which felt like solid value for the experience.

Overall, I’d highly recommend this cozy little spot in Panthapath. I’d 100%...

The Ember Grill in Dhaka has quickly carved out a niche for itself as a go-to spot for those craving a hearty, grilled meal. Known for its focus on steaks and grilled chicken, it aims to deliver a satisfying experience for meat lovers. Located conveniently, it offers a welcoming ambiance that's suitable for both casual outings and more intimate dining. Their menu prominently features various cuts of steak, cooked to your preference, alongside a selection of flavorful chicken dishes. Patrons often praise the tender juiciness of the steaks and the smoky char that defines a good grill. Beyond the main courses, their appetizers and sides complement the experience, offering choices like cheesy potato cubes and well-seasoned vegetables. While the prices reflect a premium dining experience, the quality of ingredients and preparation generally justifies it. Service is typically attentive, contributing to a pleasant overall visit. It's worth noting that some online reviews have occasionally mentioned inconsistencies in portion sizes or specific dishes, but the general consensus leans towards a positive dining experience. For anyone in Dhaka looking for a dedicated grill house with a focus on well-prepared meats, The Ember Grill is certainly a...

First time here... Amazing experience! We took a Duo Carnival and a Maverick platter. This is the first time I was able to finish a steak platter with real satisfaction. Till the very last bite, I enjoyed my meal fully.

Their fried rice is amazingly tasty, so is their mac&cheese! And the fish fingers are one of the finest I've ever tried. The rump steak was chewy but juicy and flavourful. The chickens were delicious as well. The calamari was sweet-ish, but it nicely complemented the fried rice. Even the sauteed vegetable was good (which is hard to find). I literally could not find a single item that could disappoint me.

The food taste, quality and quantity, all are very satisfactory. Hats off to the chef!

The staff behavior was friendly. They were really welcoming and prompt to respond.

The ambiance was very cozy and comfortable. Although the Jazz music in the background was a bit loud, I could barely converse with my husband. But it was mostly because I was busy stuffing food in my mouth! 😝

Loved the experience. Will definitely visit again, whenever we're near Panthapath.

Highly...

It was my first time experiencing this restaurant, and it was pretty good. We were welcomed with a cup of chicken corn soup. The staff were fully professional and well-mannered. There were very few people when we got there, so the ambiance was really calm and comfy, giving off an 80s/90s Western vibe. It can be a perfect place for family dining, a date, or hanging out with friends. The food prices are also affordable. We ordered the Texas Caviar and the Jamaican chicken platter. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the sides were flavorful (Mexican fried rice, mashed potatoes, potato wedges, and sautéed mushrooms). However, I personally found the steak a bit hard and tough to chew. I'm not sure if the steak is always served well-done, as we weren't asked how we would like it cooked. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. Honestly, I would recommend this place.
