Chilis Mirpur-12 branch manager is a hypocrite. We hired the party venue for akhdth ceremony. The manager told us the venue next to it is only for regular customer. But later he gave permission to a group of ssc batch to have a reunion party without informing us. He (the manager) shortened area of our venue by adding partition just because the guest list of reunion party was more than our guest list. Point to be noted- we hired the venue 11days before the program but the manager informed us just 2 days before the program that a very small party will be held on the same date but the guest will leave by 7-8 PM and a few numbers of people will come to venue of our program and have some food and leave. So it was hard for us to find a different venue within 2 days. But still we told him to return our advanced money, he denied. The level of hypocrisy crossed all the limit at akhdth event. There were 250-300 people who came to that party but the manager said there will be 150 people. Not only that, a live concert was held and we all know what type of songs are played on reunion party for fun. We had to request frequently to minimize the sound volume but they did not pay any attention to us. When the time for my marriage vows came, we had to request them constantly to stop the music. It was so horrible for a bride and her family and also for the groom to undergo such an experience. It was a matter of great embarrassment for me and my family that our guests had to go through this awful situation. I do not want to blame the guests from the reunion party however, some people from reunion party entered at our venue, trying to get on the stage and take pictures before we had arrived. My brother and father forbade them. But few of them were so insane and out of sense that they were taking pictures at my event photo booth even after telling them that this photo booth is for a different event. Again, we were served small pieces of chicken( 1/8) in the last moment whereas the contract was for 1/4 piece. But when we complained he denied, he said he served 1/4 pieces and claimed the money. My father didn't want to make a chaos so he paid him. Such hypocrisy should never be forgotten and forgiven.
In the end, I should warn the people who want to choose #Chilis Mirpur-12 branch for any special program please think not only twice but 5 times beacuse the manager here is a man who will not be honest with you. For a larger guest list than yours he can do anything, he can change his words. Another point to be noted- this restaurant has common washroom for both the party venue and regular venue which can be a big problem as it is situated in the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy ambiance and welcoming staff.
The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the fish cake. It was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the texture was just right – crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's safe to say that this fish cake sets a new standard for excellence.
But it's not just the fish cake that shines at this restaurant. The entire menu is a culinary journey filled with delectable dishes. I also had the opportunity to try their seafood pasta, which was a symphony of flavors. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the chef's expertise was undeniable.
Moreover, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive. They were more than happy to make recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences.
In conclusion, this restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. With its outstanding fish cake and a menu filled with culinary delights, it's a must-visit for any food enthusiast. I can't wait to return for another...
Read moreI just loved the place! Although it may be a bit dull and boring to some, it is quite classy to me. I liked their collections of historical photographs of Dhaka! They collected those and hung them on the walls of the main hall room. Quite a rare collection I must say!
Service: About the service, the waiters seemed to highly trained. They were very polite and well mannered. I willingly gave them good tips.
About the food: We took one serving of Thick Thai soup and wontons as appetizers. The Thai soup was superb! There were plenty of mushrooms, chicken and Prawns! I was not expecting such good quality. Wontons were not bad either.
For the main course, we took 2 servings of Egg Fried rice (4:1), chicken prawn cashew nut salad, 1 serving of Thai Fried chicken and 1 serving of Bangkok style Vegetable. Both egg fried rice and chicken fries were better than average. The Cashew nut salad was also quite good! There were plenty of Nuts and Chickens. However, the vegetables were nothing special, to be honest. Overall, the amount was more than satisfying (note: we...
