Babumoshai Heritage is one of the finest traditional Bengali restaurants I have ever visited.

The ambiance was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend trying their signature dish, the 'Chuijhaler mosto thaali' and "Luchi Alur Dom".

The meat was cooked to perfection and the spices used were just right. I also loved the chutney which they provide with every dish, was tender and flavorful.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt. The owner was really nice person.

The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. The restaurant has a great vibe and it's a perfect place to hang out with friends and family.

The decor is charming which was giving an aesthetic vibe and the music was soothing. The restaurant is located in a convenient location and it's easy to find.

The restaurant has a great selection of drinks, and I loved the 'Lebu Paani' which was refreshing and delicious. The 'Lassi' was also delicious.

The restaurant has a great reputation and it's easy to see why.

They have plenty of tradtional dishes to offer and the painting decor was very eye soothing. They have a traditional clothing section too.

Overall, I had a great time at Babumoshai Heritage and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great...

I recently had the chance to visit Babumoshai Heritage, and my overall experience was enjoyable with a few points to note. Starting with the food, the khichuri was flavorful and comforting, but I felt the amount of cinnamon was a bit too much. The strong spice slightly overpowered the dish and gave a heavy feeling in the throat. The chicken tasted really good and had a nice balance of spices, although it was quite oily. To complement the meal, they served a chutney, and that was the best part for me delicious and a perfect balance to the meal. The restaurant itself is very aesthetic. Every corner is nicely decorated and designed to be photo-friendly, which makes it a great spot for anyone who enjoys taking pictures. It’s no surprise that the place has become viral in Dhaka, especially among the younger crowd and social media influencers. The atmosphere definitely adds extra charm to the visit. However, I do believe the service could be improved. The staff should be more professional and attentive to create a smoother dining experience. With better service, the overall impression of the place would be much stronger.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid! I ordered the Elish Maachher Mosto Thali and immediately regretted all my life choices. The food was clearly not fresh. The khichuri smelled stale, like it had been sitting in a freezer for weeks before being reheated. The ilish? It wasn’t cooked — it was re-fried regret— completely dry and tasteless. On top of that, the portion size was a joke — maybe 20 grams at most, clearly cut from a tiny kauwa ilish (~400g sea ilish) that probably died of embarrassment. The lebu pani turned out to be just Sprite with a few floating lemon slices and some blackened, stale mint leaves. Despite having card and mobile payment stickers on the door, they refused to accept both! Maybe nxt time u will find them accepting payment in rice. Save your money, your stomach, and your sanity — go eat literally anywhere else. This place is a culinary crime scene! 😂

Food was okay but they had only 2 platter available at that time. Some of their items are only available in afternoon after 5 pm. The interior is really nice, a bit dark warm lighting but it matches the vibe of the bengali atmosphere. Suitable for aesthetic photography. But I would love it more if they had more different types of bengali dishes available all day long.
