Beautiful and tenderly run hotel with exceptionally friendly, highly skilled and attentive staff- all of them optimally skilled and very much caring for the guests. Here you can experience what it means to „walk the extra mile“, they do it effortlessly and show how motivated they are. I seldomly felt that welcome and cherished anywhere else. The atmosphere and ambience in this old, perfectly situated, town house is wonderful. We’ve been there for one night as a birthday treat for me and not only the reception staff congratulated me (even with bringing up a glas of champagne each to our room!), but also the very professional waiter and even the kitchen by sending out a special dessert. The handwritten card from the hotel management in our room and the bedtime treats waiting for us when we came back from dinner have been further very nice touches, aswell as providing chilled waterbottles for our bike ride back. The bikes had been parked savely in the underground car park and usually you find water and mints in your car when you get it back, but no difference has been made between other guests arriving by car or us arriving with bikes and two carrier bags. Also breakfast was a marvellous experience on a very high level. Thank you very much to everybody at Hotel Heritage for the wonderful time there and for spoiling me rotten! You are a role model of a 5 star hotel with an own and unique style in a time when more and more standardized chains take over. Keep it up 😀

Amazing attention to detail and fabulous location! Period traditional/clean hotel with lovely touches. Was lucky enough to have stayed in both the Classic room and Junior Suite (on the 4th floor and spacious with rooftop views). If you get a city facing room then you can get a view of the Belfry Tower and hear the bells from the square. All the staff and amazing! Polite, happy and very attentive so HUGE thank you to Claire, Sarah, Zoe, Bo and Silvia for making us feel special and welcomed throughout our stay. Cleaning staff happy and friendly too and always welcoming. Go for the bottomless (yes yes!) prosecco breakfast option - seems pricy but isn’t considering the food options, bottomless prosecco and the classy table layout (you can even have this if you do not stay here). Hidden gem: their Sauna facilities which is FREE and it’s private! Just book your private slot with reception is really a unique and special touch which isn’t fully explained in the hotel details online I think. Roof top balcony for all guest is a nice touch where you can relax and have a drink. All headed up by the owner Isabelle who is often present and hands on running around with her team of amazing staff. Highly recommended based upon amazing staff, cleanliness, value, location and how connected Isabelle is to her business and customers. They really go the extra mile here.

This beautiful Relais & Chateaux hotel is very central and classy. Biggest deception: some of the classic rooms are extremely small and a bit outdated. The hotel is only recently upgraded to 5-stars but I must say the room (#24) we had was the smallest hotel room I have ever slept in (with the exception of youth hostels). It is even much smaller than the advertised 20 m2 (it’s 15.5 actually, gross m2). I hurt arms, legs and feet in this tiny room. The room was quite dark also. I wouldn’t dare to ask more than 300 a night for this. Check-in was also quite basic: none of our requests were met. No valet, no charging of the EV, no parking: just solve it yourself. Massage centre? Closed. No alternative proposed. The place is managed as a bed and breakfast with a restaurant, not a 5 star hotel. The breakfast is delicious though and highly recommended. We also had dinner which was traditional French gastronomy, but exceeding expectations with excellent service. A good hotel experience and a great weekend, but honestly.. this place is a bit overpriced and/or overrated and/or ‘overstarred’.

This hotel is all you could ask for in a small boutique luxury hotel. Me and my partner stayed for four nights and it was truly amazing! The staff is really what makes this place. They are friendly, knowledgeabvle and approachable. Everyone we had an interaction with were so kind.

The standard room is on the smaller size if youre used to bigger five star hotels but nothing that we felt was a bad thing. The AC worked very well now when its starting to get hot and was quiet. Bed was comfy. Just keep in mind that the amenities in the room are on the more basic side but you can ask for razor or toothbrush at the reception.

We had a small incident with the room malfounctioning but they helped us swiftly and we got a new room very quick so it did not feel like a hassle at all!

The food at their on site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced for what you got. Its a small restaurant and the same place where you would eat breakfast which had a small but good selection of bread, pastries, bacon, sausage, veggies, cold cuts, cheeses, different spreads and chocolate. They made egg dishes to order and you could also get a small waffle. Plus you got a small nibble of savoury and sweet that changed every day.

Their small relaxation area was bookable and had a big shower, a steam room, sauna, foot bath and some nice lounge chairs. I'm sure you could get some refreshments there too since it was equipped with a phone.

There was also a small bar (felt like a small british pub) where you could have a simple drink or cocktail. We played some chess and some cards and the only thing i can pinpoint is that the deck of cards were too worn out so that would be good if they replaced.

All in all I highly reccomend this hotel if youre out for a charming hotel in very close proximity to the city centre and the friendliest staff that will help...

We stayed at Hotel Heritage for a weekend in Bruges and had the most incredible experience from start to finish. We arrived a little before check-in and were warmly welcomed — a member of the reception team even came out to greet us, helped with our luggage, and stored it until our room was ready. I was offered WhatsApp updates when the room was available, which was a really thoughtful touch.

When we returned, we were shown to our amazing suite (Room 42), beautifully decorated with balloons for my partner’s birthday. Soft jazz was playing, making the room feel so luxurious. A team member soon arrived with two glasses of champagne and sugar-free chocolates (a wonderful gesture, as my partner is type 1 diabetic), then gave us a personal tour of the suite — such a lovely touch!

The suite itself was stunning, with an incredible bath and even a Dyson hairdryer, which was such a nice luxury extra. Breakfast was exceptional, and they even provided a gluten-free bread basket for my partner. On Saturday we enjoyed the private sauna and steam room, which felt like such a unique and relaxing experience — just the two of us.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bruges. The area felt safe and beautifully clean, which made exploring easy and enjoyable. The turndown service in the evenings was a highlight: returning to our room with soft music playing, curtains closed, the bed freshly made, and little extras like chocolates, a travel book, and even a sweet goodnight note.

At checkout, we were given a thoughtful gift bag with water and sweets for our journey, and the team stored our luggage while we did some last exploring. Every detail was taken care of, and the staff made us feel truly looked after.

Absolutely incredible stay — I cannot recommend Hotel Heritage enough. Thank you so much for making our...
