We had a reservation for 9 adults and 4 children at this restaurant in the center of Bruges, drawn in by its charming decor and positive first impression. However, what followed was deeply disappointing due to the staff's attitude toward us, our order, and—shockingly—our children.

Here’s what happened: all adults ordered main courses and drinks. Out of the four children, one didn’t want to eat because they had already had a treat at the Christmas market, and my own child, who has multiple allergies, couldn’t eat food prepared by the restaurant. I explained this to the waiter and informed them that I had brought food from home for my child, as I always do.

To our disbelief, a member of the restaurant's management came to our table and questioned each of the mothers individually, asking: “Why has your table ordered so little?” This was utterly unacceptable! Nowhere does the restaurant specify a minimum order requirement.

As someone who travels frequently with my 4-year-old, I always check menus for allergen-friendly options and inform staff if I need to bring food for my child. This was the first time I’ve ever encountered such blatant disrespect.

After this appalling treatment, we decided to cancel our order. When we informed the waiter, he made another disrespectful gesture, adding to the unpleasantness. If we hadn’t been treated this way, we wouldn’t have left.

What’s worse, no one from the staff apologized for their behavior, and we noticed two other tables also being treated poorly—both left shortly after. It’s worth mentioning that the restaurant was far from busy at the time, so there was no excuse for such unprofessional conduct.

This experience was deeply upsetting, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Their lack of respect for customers, especially families with children, was...

Really couldn't wait to leave a review for this place and Kevin our waiter. We specifically came to Brugge for 1 night for my husbands birthday as we have been many times and the ribs over here are the best. He's been to other rib places and by chance I found this one checked out the reviews and booked and so glad I did. All you can eat ribs for 22 euros with as many hot jacket potatoes and chips as you like which is a first as most places its just the ribs that you can get more of. The place was busy and is huge not just the tables you see in through the window it carrys on down the back to a what looks like and funky old library with cosy booths. Service was amazing, Kevin introduced himself and explained the menu, options and sauces. We both had ribs and there are 3 options for them dry, sweet sause or classic mozart smokey bbq and both sauces were morish if they bottled it and sold it I would have bought it. The great thing they do which is really clever is the first portion is in any sauce you like then any more comes dry and you have the sauses on the table with a brush to base on yourself as little or as much as you like same for their signature butter for the potatoes is on the table. I order a glass of wine and a bottle came out again very clever as they will only charge you for what you have drunk and this levitates the need for chasing drink orders, it was in a cooler so was a great concept plus the fact it average at 3.20 euros for a small glass was great. There was no hanging about here as soon as you fork was down within 5 minutes you were offered more and they were all fresh and hot. Really can't recommend this place enough already planning our next trip back and we will be dinning here for sure. Amazing food, service and atmosphere let alone value for money. 5 stars all...

Great food but let down by poor service when we came. The ribs tasted great and came with plenty of seconds available - come with an empty stomach to make the most of it! The sides were great too, the fries were probably my favourite we had in Bruges and the onion rings were cooked perfectly without too much grease. The ribs come with a choice of sauce/glazing, the Mozart sauce was my favourite.

Unfortunately we had a lot of issues with our waiter which let down the evening for us. After we were seated we were waiting a very long time to place our order, with multiple people arriving after us having their order taken while we were ignored. After the food arrived, I was happy that we were offered extra ribs however I noticed the table next to us was waiting a long time when they asked for more. At the end we ordered dessert and was waiting a very long time again, only to be told by our waiter that he thought we didn't want anything - why he didn't bring the bill in that case I don't know. Another thing was that throughout our time we saw the waiter vigorously scratching his arm multiple times which isn't very appetising to watch.

I understand that they are understaffed currently and that they struggle on busy nights. I don't mind service being a little slow if the food is good, but being completely forgotten about and ignored really ruins the experience. Hopefully when they are able to hire better front of house staff the place will become worth a return visit since the kitchen staff clearly do a good job.

Something to note is that even if you make a reservation you still have to queue to get in, so I would recommend to arrive a little bit early.

In terms of price for what we had it was actually very reasonable. Though I would rather spend 20-30% more for a...
