Radisson Vila Olimpia Sao Paulo — Hotel in Região Imediata de São Paulo

This hotel was terrible and a bad selection for staying: Let start with the elevators. Those were soooo old that you were able to hear all the mechanisim, also it shook while it was moving. Also in bad condition. The design ofvthe buttons was difficult to undertand were you should press. Breakfast was nothing special. The service was terrible from the time you entered the restaurant. The host did not smile. I asked for over easy eggs and they served a burned, dry and aweful fried eggs. On the positive side, the watermelon juice was fantastic as well as the pastry. I was in the 23th floor. In the corridor there was a room for cleaning things with an annoying blinking light bulb. The room had some poorly designed furtinute. During the night I heard water falling from the roof, water running through the pipes. Don’t ask for room service. The first one I asked was pasta with buffala. The sauce smelled and tasted bad, like a stale sauce. Two days after, I asked for an entrecote with beans and mashed potato. The meat was salty and the mashed potato was washy. The only good thing with the room service was the Coca Cola Zero.

The location is great, right next to a mall with many food options and I was able to walk to the office building I had to go to.

Breakfast was included in my rate and the buffet selection was very large.

Rituals toiletries are nice.

The staff was friendly but not attentive. E.g. we asked for a taxi and we're told they are calling one for us. 15 minutes later there still was no taxi and nobody updated us on the status.

My first room had a leaky toilet. I told reception and about an hour later maintenance came by. Since it couldn't be repaired on the spot they called reception to have me moved to a new room. Nobody followed up though, so after 30 mins I called reception to ask about the next steps. Then they sent someone to help me move to a new room.

Cleanliness needs improvement: stains on bed throw, curtains, desk chair was covered in hair and dust, make up mirror had fingerprints on it and wasn't cleaned during my 5 days stay, the toilet wall had suspicious brown stains.

I highly recommend the Raddison Vila Olimpíadas, very close location from my clients but also ideal location as I was travelling alone from the UK to Brazil for the first time. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with a nice office corner so I could work every day using the wi-if before visiting clients. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room as well as a well stocked mini bar. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool opened til very late at night. I organised a VC on the mezzanine and one in the restaurant area. I had to move room due to a minor leak in my bathroom and Clara and Joao in particular were so kind and helpful and upgraded me to a higher level room due to the inconvenience. And helped me to transfer all my belongings spot to door with a valet service. The breakfast in the morning is lovely, nice mix of continental and cooked food and the staff is very friendly. I will make sure I come here again on my next business trip - there is also a fabulous shopping centre 5 mins walk from here, good coffee and restaurant and acai place as well as supermarket literally 10 mins walk.
