I had the pleasure of staying at the Pullman Vila Olímpia in São Paulo from August 19th to 23rd, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process. Their assistance in arranging cabs and providing recommendations for nearby restaurants was much appreciated, adding a personal touch to my stay.

The hotel itself is located in a safe area, which gave me peace of mind during my trip. Although it's a bit away from the new Convention Center, I found the location ideal for those who prefer a more secure and quiet environment. The proximity to restaurants and shopping malls was an added bonus, making it easy to explore the city without having to travel far.

Breakfast at the hotel was of excellent quality, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The servers were attentive and friendly, making each morning a pleasant start to the day. The bar also stood out for its good selection of beers, offering a great way to unwind after a busy day.

Check-in was smooth, but when I got to the room, I noticed there were no slippers (or bath sandals), which are usually provided in the room. Other Pullman hotels I’ve stayed at always provide them. I called the front desk to ask, and they told me I had to request them. This is bad faith — if the guest doesn’t know that slippers are available only on request, how can they enjoy a benefit that’s already included in the price? Especially considering this is not a cheap hotel. How does Accor in Brazil allow this to happen under its brand? It’s absurd, especially for a flagship hotel in such a prime location.

On top of that, when I was checking out, the front desk tried to charge me more than the amount stated in my original booking, claiming that hotel prices vary. This goes against consumer protection laws, and shows the staff’s lack of preparation to deal with high-end and well-informed guests.

To this day, I have not received the correct invoice or fiscal receipt in Brazil, with the charges from the room still missing. This is truly unacceptable, and I urge Accor to review and restructure the management...
