Hotel Cheap — Hotel in Sofia City

Stayed here for the second time this year during a quick visit to Sofia. Hotel is conveniently located near the Central Railway Station, the Central Bus Station and the Metro … only a 10-minute walk away! Quiet off main road location.||||Hotel is immaculately clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious enough for 2 people. In bathroom shower is close to toilet due to space constraint but this is the only partial negative about staying here.||||Full service bar in lobby where you can grab a beer/cocktail or hot tea and coffee. They also have fresh croissant for sale for breakfast as there is NO restaurant on premise.||||Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. ||||Hotel is rated 2-Star but easily qualifies for 3-Star! Price about $40 USD for double room per night on booking.com (more expensive on other travel websites).||||I really like...

What a weird place. I submitted a booking via their website for €45 a night for a single room; on arrival I was told it hadn't been confirmed and there were no single rooms left - no worries. I asked if they had doubles and they said yes - a double is €50 on their website. Another price is shown to me on a piece of paper (€55); I mentioned it's €50 on the website. The lady said it's €55 in the hotel (not sure why they have different rates). I said but it's €50 on your website. She says that's online. Okay, so I'll book online now then. She said that I could but it will not be confirmed as a booking (by her, presumably) and then stared at her screen for two minutes while I thought I was waiting. I recommend you to avoid booking the room 103. The bathroom there has all the components of a trap that had badly hurts my boyfriend's feet:||1) A FLESH CUTTING TOOL: the waterhole in the shower's floor is bordered by sharp edged tiles.||2) A SLIPPERY FLOOR: There is no separation between the WC and the shower. So, basically, you take your shower in the toilets and the floor is always wet||3) Of course, NO CARPET that could prevent gliding.||||Want to see the bloody result? I have posted some pictures ; you should find them around.||Side notes:||- Don't complain to the direction: you'll get no answer. ||- They make you pay the room in advance and will keep your money, whatever happens.||- We were there in date of 08-17-2019.
