BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! DON'T GET SCAMMED!!! This place used to be French 75 and now it's Next Page. They don't have a menu yet so if you are planning to buy a cocktail, ask for the price first. They don't charge for a cocktail as a whole but they make you pay for each ingredient separately. Their justification is that people might want the more expensive alcohol in the cocktail for example. The problem is that they didn't ask me if I wanted the expensive gin in my sour (they decided for me) and gave me one which costs 12.90 just for the gin and then added the prices of the other ingredients on top of this. The sour, the tonic, everything is separate. My issue is not with the price of the cocktail. I'll pay for a good cocktail. The main problem is that they don't ask you before they decide to give you the expensive alcohol. On top of that, they charged me for an entire bottle of tonic and my cocktail was obviously not filled with an entire bottle of tonic because it was wine based and filled to the top with ice. I don't mind paying for tonic, but they didn't give me the remaining bottle either before charging me for it. If their approach is to charge separately for every drop in my cocktail, I expect to get 100% of the drops I'm paying for. Absolutely outrageous and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Next page bar, and while the atmosphere was undeniably pleasant, the cocktails left much to be desired. The ambiance was fantastic ā the dĆ©cor was stylish and the music created a great backdrop for a night out.
However, the cocktails fell short of expectations. I specifically ordered a long cocktail, which, by definition, should be a mixed drink typically served in a taller glass, often diluted with mixers like soda, tonic or juice, and known for its refreshing and balanced flavor. Instead, I was served a short cocktail ā a drink that is generally more concentrated and served in a smaller glass, intended to be more intense in flavor.
Unfortunately, what I received was a short, watery concoction with very little taste. It lacked the depth and complexity expected from a well-made cocktail. The drink was neither refreshing nor satisfying, and it seemed to miss the mark on both quality and presentation.
It's a shame because the bar's atmosphere is truly enjoyable. However, if you're looking for a place with expertly crafted cocktails, you might want to look elsewhere. The setting is great for a casual hangout, but if youāre serious about your drinks, this bar might not meet your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely rude staff. I ordered a dry martini, and they served it to me in a plastic cup. When I asked for a glass one, they refused, claiming that customers break them. I accepted that, but then I asked for an olive with the martini, and they refused again and asked me to leave, saying I was a demanding customer. As far as I know, a martini is served in a glass with a green olive. I never understood what exactly happened. I do not recommend this place to customers who expect to be served in glassware. The photos have nothing to do with reality ā the truth...
