Just Rooms & Wine — Hotel in Varna

I give it max 3 stars for the receptionists who are really nice and kind. Never have i seen so clean pictures of a hotell and when you arrive you get shocked of how dirty it is. We even got the offer to change the room and it was as dirty as the first room we got. Sadly for us (me and my gf) it was a really not too satisfying experiense just because of how dirty it really are under the bed, shelves and carpet and spider webs around too. I do not recommmend this hotell for anyone who have higher standards at home and in general.

Here is my pluss and minuses list:

Minuses: They dont clean your room (so beware) so not good to stay there too long. No new bed sheets or pillow sheets given durning 1 week stay. They dont give you new towels everyday, only every 3rd day which is okey but, im used to have it changed everyday at regular hotels. Its dusty everywhere and also spider web in some corners like its never been vacuumed under the bed etc. Shower is a joke, you will have to find out hot and cold water taps, even if it says its cold it is hot (so beware) test for yourself. The shower head is bad aka. old and toilet it self is full of water afterwards since the pipes are stuffed or old and do not drain propperly down as it should do. There is no elevator to your room, you have to walk the stairs so you know beforehand. The sink have never cold water so beware or buy your own cold water to brush teeth etc. as we did. You can hear people in other rooms really well for example using just the sink or the shower. Cleaning lady screams at reseptionist in front of customers which is little strange aswell.

Plusses: Its just really cheap. The bed is comfortable and have good pillows. They got air condition which max degree is 18 degree, but it works. They got a small fridge in case you need to store cold drinks. The place is centered and you can easily sleep with out any noise from outside (only noise is from the inside). You can also walk to different locations from here since its central: to the beach or resturants etc. which is really nice. Staff is really super kind and welcome you really well, but they do not check if the rooms are clean or not i assume the cleaner should be in charge of that but, manager should also know/approve of how clean the rooms are.

We took a night here because we saw that this hotel has good reviews in booking.com.||This is definitely the dirtiest hotel that I have ever been. We went to our room that was located in the upstairs (we had a roof windows). There was bugs wandering in our bed. At first I though they were small carbages but after we looked them better we saw that they had feet. ||We took one bug and went to the reception to show it to the staff. She told us that she didn’t know what it is. After she found out that we were in the roof-room she told that they have come there through the window. There was no other rooms available and the cleaning staff had already gone home. ||This was the first time to ever get the feeling that it would be a bad idea to stay there. We checked the whole room to see if there was any signs of bed bugs and luckily we didn’t found so we stayed. ||The cleaning staff clearly doesn’t care about the hotel or its cleanliness. The carpet was so dirty that after you had showered you didn’t want to step on the floor so I used shoes to walk there. I don’t know if they have vacuumed the room for a year or something. There were small carbages everywhere. Also we checked the bed because of the high risks to get bed bugs and got sick because the bed was so dirty. The matress was filled with trash and they stinged you when you went to lay in the bed. ||If you want to get sleep don’t look under the bed. It has not been cleaned since someone has bring the bed in the room. ||Also we heard that other guests were asking the receptionist if they could clean their room because they had also dirty ones.||We also read that there has been guests that have experienced their money disappearing from their rooms so we needed to take our value items with us. ||It is so sad that the unprofessional cleaning staff is ruining a hotel that would be so comfy and pretty without them. I had overall bad experience. Yes, the stay is cheap, but the room is really horrible. The vibe in the building is just weird. Why are there so many pictures of animals in human bodies??? A bit creepy. They left me 3 towels in the room when I checked in - one feet and two body towels. The body towel had yellow stains on it. The mat in the room smells like feet and was not cleaned properly. There was spider net next to the door. The wifi didn’t work until the last night. There was no view from the balcony because the tree was so close and wasn’t trimmed. A pipe was dripping from the wall when using the sink. There was a HUGE cockroach on my last night and went under the mat. The staff seemed completely helpless when you ask them about the wifi, they only reply “there is a problem” and the only thing they had to do is restart the routers.. They have left some note on the door for the wifi password and network, which the network doesn’t even exists anymore. No mosquito net on the balcony or windows, many animals visited me during my 3 day stay. The location is good, but from those trees so many mosquitos and bugs were going in my room, turned into a zoo, including the huge cockroach living under the mat.
