"I would not recommend this hotel unless you want to die"
At first I was having a very good experience with the hotel, the location, the facilities, and the staff are all good. Until it was my time to leave at the hotel, I was supposed to go to Vietnam in the morning so I already packed my sandals and all in my suitcase. I was forced to used the slippers they have on the hotel room. The slippers were so slippery and in addition to that the stairs are unclean which made me fell and hurt my back. It's in the perfect location... a peaceful neighborhood just a half block from the river and one more block to all the action in central siem reap (the night market, the day market and one more block to Pub Street!). Just far enough away that you hear none of the noise but close enough to make it an easy walk anytime you want.
Large clean rooms, 2 swimming pools (including a rooftop pool with a fantastic view of Siem Reap).
Very helpful staff particularly the manager Mr. Sey who has helped my partner I with several arrangements over the years (including a full day tuk tuk/remorque driver for Angkor Wat trips).
Has a nice hotel restaurant (which I haven't eaten at yet) and several great restaurants, cafes & bakeries within 100 meters! (which seem to be preferred by locals which is quite nice because you don't feel that you're surrounded...

Pub street a stroll away but so good to be surrounded by quiet after another big day out. It really is nice to feel your spirit change gear going from and coming back to Homewood.
