Amazing and delicious Cambodian food with a fancy twist. A must go to restaurant if you are in Siem Reap.
I walked past this restaurant several days in a row and it looked so intriguing from the tall grand walls to the tranquil indoor setting that finally tonight I went in to try it out.
I found it strange that there were no reviews for it on Google so hopefully my review and photos will encourage others to go. I think it's because it is part of a hotel although the restaurant is open to anyone.
It was pretty quiet when I arrived which was nice and a lovely change from the noisy and crowded tourist trap that is pub street. There is no music playing here just the lovely tranquil sound of the water pouring into the lovely pond which surrounds the restaurant.
Food wise, prices are very reasonable at around $4-5 for a starter, $5-8 for a main and $4-5 for a dessert. Yes, it's a little pricier than some Cambodian restaurants but the quality of the food and the surroundings are worth it.
The cocktails however, are overpriced and tiny so not worth it, and i finished my coconut mojito in a few sips. While delicious it did not warrant the $6.50 price tag. Next time I'd opt for a juice or beer.
To eat, I had the Mekong prawn curry for mains and the mango crumble for dessert. And both were the best food I've eaten since I've been in Cambodia.
Service was very efficient and the staff were polite and friendly but not intrusive or bothersome.
I will definitely eat here again...

Thank you ladies for giving me such a special birthday to remember and for all your efforts surprising me with the beautiful cake.
Another huge thank you to the gentleman on reception who liaised with my partner before and during the visit in organising this special surprise🙏🏼
The restaurant and hotel grounds are so beautiful, peaceful and well-maintained. All the staff are friendly and professional and go above and beyond to make your visit memorable.
We tried several appetisers from the diverse menu which is sectioned into themed periods throughout Cambodia’s history. As a history lover I thought this was a really fun element.
The Beef Lak Lok and the Lemongrass Chicken were both incredible, the chefs here are very talented and create the dishes with...

The food here is quite good. The fish amok was very tasty, however the chicken satay lacked flavour and was a little dry. Our starter of the vegetable croquettes was very good too. However, compared to other restaurants I don’t think it is very good value for money.
The service was below average, all staff were very welcoming when we arrived but they soon became complacent and prioritised other customers in larger number who were clearly spending more money. For example, when another group came in, a staff member turned the fan to face them in 30 degree heat.
However, the area surrounding the table and atmosphere...
