Our stay at the Mony Reach Angkor Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and it stands out as the best hotel we experienced during our three-week journey across Cambodia. This 4-star hotel truly goes above and beyond to deliver a memorable and comfortable stay.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate condition of the hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and spotlessly clean, providing a welcoming drink is a nice extra. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern with excellent water pressure—a rare find in Cambodia, where water pressure can often be an issue.
One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful pool. After a long day of temple-hopping, there’s nothing better than cooling off with a refreshing swim. The pool area is serene and well-maintained, and the poolside menu offers delicious food and drinks at good prices. The dishes are not only tasty but also beautifully presented, and the drinks are perfectly crafted.
The included breakfast was another standout feature. With a wide variety of healthy options, including both Western and Asian cuisine. The quality and freshness of the food were impressive, and the buffet was just the right size—ample without being overwhelming. On the day we had an early start to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the hotel even prepared a prepackaged breakfast for us, which was a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated.
The hotel’s tour desk deserves special mention for their flexibility and excellent service. They were able to organize both standard tours and customized itineraries tailored to our preferences. Their willingness to accommodate our schedule made our visits seamless and stress-free.
Location-wise, the Mony Reach Angkor Hotel is perfectly situated. It’s just a 7-minute walk to Pub Street, which offers a lively atmosphere and plenty of dining and entertainment options. The surrounding area is also dotted with charming cafes and restaurants, providing affordable and delicious dining choices.

Read moreIt was a very convenient location, right at the heart of the city with easy access to all amenities such as super markets and Pub Street. I did request a late check out because my flight will not leave until 4pm, this request was approved without any hesitation. Staffs always greet us when we came in and out of the hotel and offered to help me with our luggage during check out as well which was a really nice of them. The room is spacious with high ceiling and light color so it feels fresh and just like home. The bathroom is modern with a big bathtub and shower head which is very easy to use. There are free bottle water provided in the room as well as tropical fruits bowl.
Free breakfast is provided with our stay. There was a variety of choices ranging from Asian to Western dishes using fresh local and imported ingredients. It was delicious and sumptuous. On one of the breakfasts, because I had to depart at 5am in the morning to join the Agkor Wat sunrise tour so did not have time to sit down in the restaurant for breakfast, the hotel provided me with a takeaway breakfast so I can enjoy on the way.
There is also a swimming pool for us to relax after a long day trip around Angkor Wat. We did enjoy a late afternoon drinks around the pool side. Before heading upstair to the spa session which we booked for an hour session which was done by a professional Cambodian spa person with Khmer herbals and oils.
Another advantage of staying here is the free access to business center which I need to use to complete some of my work during this trip. I was offered free printing, scanning and WIFI internet during my stay there.
This is a newly open hotel in centre of Siem Reap city. We stayed there as a family being part of our trip in South East Asia between Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
Overall, this property is highly recommended for any travellers visiting Siem Reap, Camobodia with very professional Khmer hospitality and eager to help guests in...
Read moreI stayed here for two weeks while I was doing a long-stay in Cambodia. Everything about this hotel was top-notch, from the cleanliness and space of the rooms, the quality of the breakfast buffet, the pool, and the kindness and warmth of the staff. The location is perfect and makes you a short tuk-tuk ride away from pretty much anywhere you'd want to go in Siem Reap.
But what truly made me feel the need to leave this review was the staff going above and beyond when I misremembered my checkout date. I thought I had four extra days left on my reservation, but when they called to inquire about what time I planned to check-out, I realized my mistake. Normally, this wouldn't be that big of a deal, however this was during Khmer New Year—literally the busiest time of year I could have made this mistake.
They told me that unfortunately they didn't have any rooms immediately available, so there I was scrolling my phone contemplating my life choices and despairing at how much this mistake was going to cost me in both time and money. That's when one of the staff approached me and informed me that because I had been staying at the hotel for a long period, they had a suite they could accommodate me for at an incredibly reasonable price given the circumstances. 30 minutes later I was in my new, equally spacious and clean room. They even moved over all the groceries I had left in the mini fridge in my previous room in my frantic and hurried checkout.
It was truly above and beyond service and kindness and I am extremely happy that I chose to book this hotel. I highly recommend staying here if you come to...
