Siem Reap City Angkor Boutique — Hotel in Siem Reap

It all started well. The staff is nice and kind always available. After a long stay we found that we were missing some cash that we were sure was in the room, also the safe was open when we were sure we had locked it when we left, so went to the manager to ask him if he could check if something was wrong. At this point we had not accused anybody of anything. He came back a few minutes later and told us that he didn’t see anything and asked if we didn’t make a mistake, and that in all cases we couldn’t be refunded of anything. At this point it was an acceptable answer but then it escalated as he told us that if we wanted we could go to the police and press charges but if we did so they would press charges against us (for what reason exactly!!!!!????????) and he looked at us and told us that they paid “taxes” to the police every month to handle those situations for them as they didn’t have time to deal with them directly. In what universe à manager threatens his clients when all we did was ask him to check if he had seen anything unusual??!!

We still would like to emphasize that all the staff but the manager was extremely nice to us and available, yet this was a very unexpected and undesirable conclusion to our stay: avoid the Siem Reap Angkor City...

Had an amazing experience staying in this strategically located hotel, where interesting attractions are within walking distance.|Pub street is just across the street and old market is just a mere 5 mins walk.|The friendly staffs are helpful in getting what you need during your stay.|Hem, the hotel representative, was kind enough to explain and booked for me a tour to Angkor Wat.|The tour itself was also a great experience, thanks to the kind driver Mr. Chheab who picked me up from the airport and showed me around the city and then later took us to the different sites and places throughout the tour.|The knowledgeable tour guide Voath was also a great companion and made the tour exciting and enriching.|Definitely recommend this hotel and the great team to whoever considering a stay and tour...

I stayed here for 3 nights. Among all the hotels located around the pub street, this hotel really does stand out. It is located just 100 meters from the pub street, which means you can walk to the pub street in 1 minute (go straight down an alley), while being able to have a quiet night. ||The rooms are very clean, and the hotel provides you thing such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo etc.||There are plenty of restaurants nearby too, and the hotel’s own restaurant is also very nice (yes, you do get free breakfast). ||The staff here are all super friendly and passionate. There was one time when I accidentally changed the password of the lock to my suitcase, and the staff helped me to open the lock using a pair of pliers. ||I would definitely...
