A Good Nites Rest is a relatively recently renovated B&B which makes a good first impression. However, apart from taking your $200+ per night when you arrive, the hosts take little interest in you. Don't think that you will be staying with a friendly family. This place is a house with every space turned into a money making opportunity. There were at least 7 units if not more; more like a motel than a B&B. Our room was in the basement and the ceiling height in the shower room is 197 cm high. I know because I'm 196 cm tall. There is nothing loving about the furnishings. Everything is a bland brown, practical, and cheap hotel-like.The first night we were very cold. The beds only had sheets and no proper cover. The second night we discovered some slightly stained blankets which kept us warm. It looked like all renovations were done by a jack of all trades who never mastered one; holes in tiles, unfinished patch in the wall, sawn off bathroom door with handle really low, not to mention that the side of the house was propped up with jacks which are only intended for temporary support. The breakfast room is too small for the number of guests and the breakfast is the quality that you would expect at a cheap motel. Perhaps a little better but nothing to get excited about. Never the less the mattresses were okay and the B&B is located only a few blocks away from downtown. Not a bad option if you cannot find other accommodation. And it was clean. There was no sign of the oriental breakfast mentioned in other reviews. Or the breakfast in room option.

We stayed here on New Year's Eve and we were glad we did, the room was huge and clean, beds were cozy and comfortable, washroom was clean spacious. The room has coffee maker, kettle, fridge and microwave. We were also supplied with tons of free breakfast. The staff was great and very accommodating. The location is great close to Banff Avenue, so easy to find. We highly recommend this place and will definitely book here again.

Great small place. Some parking available. Breakfast had pretty good variety for B & B. Management was very friendly and nice. Rooms are clean and big enough. Private exits in the yard from the room. Very close yo downtown, restaurants and shopping. From some rooms view is on the mountains. The only concern we had is noise isolation. You can here what's happening in hr other rooms. Recommend for staying couple nights.

Booked this B/B at last minute, took a little while to locate it as Sat Nav could not find it.||Location is fab and only minutes walk to town centre.||||Booking in was easy and the owner very pleasant. Room was spacious and adequate albeit a little dated. The Lights were faulty and were meant to be fixed during our stay, unfortunately this never took place.||||Breakfast on final morning was 100m along the road at the Best Western due to unforeseen circumstances form the B/B owners. That said the breakfast in both locations was fab and most enjoyable.||||Its a reasonable priced B/B near to Banff Centre and I would...

Leider keine...
