The hotel has very nice renovated rooms and is very much worth the nightly price. However, some things to note: There seems to be some miscommunication regarding housekeeping as my housekeeping was missed and I literally had to reuse my soiled towels for 2 days. This is not that big of a deal depending on who you are and how you like using your toiletries. For me, it was frustrating but what can you do.....the hotel staff was kind enough to give me a credit back for the missed housekeeping so it's ok. On my last night of stay (when I needed my parking spot the most), the hotel ran out of parking. Now nothing bad to the hotel staff but management should give assigned parking to already existing hotel guests or atleast some kind of parking card/ticket. This would help with managing parking spots at the hotel. I stayed in the most expensive room and you're telling me I have no place to park my car but everyone who checked in newly at the hotel does? Are you kidding me?!?! I might as well have checked out early, saved my money for the last night and checked into another hotel with available parking. This is absolutely insane and not tolerable as a hotel guest, especially one that is paying the hotel over $2k for a 6 night stay. Kudos though to the receptionist that was able to make parking spot arrangements near the entrance of the hotel, it was very much appreciated. Still tho, management should up their game!!!!!
All in all, it was a fabulous hotel for the quality of the rooms and amenities provided. But the way housekeeping and parking is, I would not stay here again. Also, all these reviews about the AC units being loud - what do you expect them to do? This isn't a big brand name hotel or franchise nor are you staying at the Fairmont, so don't criticise them for loud AC units. They are loud but most hotels in Banff don't even have them, so I would choose loud AC units over...

My family and I decided to stay at Banff for a day to celebrate the end of the school year and we decided on this place.
The rooms are clean other than some dust or some extremely small stains (none on the bedsheets, only on the floor).
The rooms are also wonderfully warm and the furnace is controllable. I stayed cozy all night. The balcony is narrow but has a beautiful view of the mountains. Washrooms have great water flow and the soaps from Rocky Mountain Soap smell great. There was also some lotion that worked well protecting my dry skin at night.
There is an ice dispenser that we used for our drinks just by the entrance. This was a plus!
The hot tub is not very hot, but its warm enough if you slip in and out of it. Its jets are powerful and clearly well maintained. However, its quite small and has a maximum capacity of 6 people. Luckily, no one was there when we came there just before it closed at 9pm.
My family member got food poisoning from food she ate earlier that day (not from the hotel). The hotel members were quick to provide us with barf bags which really helped us on our way back home.
One thing that I'm concerned about is the privacy and the quietness. The doors, walls, and windows have little to no sound insulation. At night, there were people screaming across the street, though it didn't trouble our sleep that much since we were exhausted. In the morning, you can hear footsteps rumbling up and down the halls and people speaking. This probably means that when we speak, others can also hear us perfectly clearly!
Overall, this was a nice experience! Its a great place for tourists to come out the hotel and take a brisk walk before returning and slipping into the nice hot tub. Just mind the lack of sound absorption...

The only reason I am going so hard is that this owner owns a number of high end establishments in town, but they think it is ok to misrepresent this hotel and exhort money from the less affluent tourists. Appalling...
