EXCEPTIONAL FINE DINING EXPERIENCE
This restaurant consistently delivers outstanding dishes that keep us coming back. On a previous visit, we enjoyed the Atlantic Salmon entrée, complemented by cheesecake and a meringue with blueberries, all paired with hot coffee. The meal began with freshly baked buns served with oil and balsamic vinegar, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience.
On our most recent visit, we enjoyed the “Saskatoon Berry Pie”, which was nothing short of excellent. The specially prepared ice cream by Chef Rodrigo was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with the pie.
SERVICE & STAFF
The service here is always top-notch. David (C.R. / C), our server, was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The staff consistently provide warm and professional service, making every visit memorable.
ATMOSPHERE
The restaurant offers a relaxed, quiet, and welcoming environment, which was especially appreciated after a long day of hiking in the mountains. The atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for both cozy dining and special occasions.
CLEANLINESS & PRESENTATION
The restaurant is immaculately clean, with a well-organized and beautifully presented dining area. Tables are neatly set, and the attention to detail in both food presentation and restaurant maintenance enhances the overall experience.

Read moreI had a very bad experience. The restaurant looks like a cafeteria, the waiters weren’t very personable. My boyfriend and I ordered the skillet. It was awful. The bacon was raw, the eggs were over cook. The entire meal was awful. No one come check on us. When I finally ask to get the meal remade it was almost 20 min. When I told the waiter it was raw and gross he just stood there awkwardly and didn’t do anything… finally my boyfriend told him to go remake it. Both waiter just stood there and wouldn’t do anything… we got the meal to go because we had to leave and when we got to eat it it was just even worse than the first time. On top of it the cream curdled in my coffee. I told the waiter and nothing was done about it either . I was staying at the Charleston and had a 10 percent discount. Glad I did. I’m a waitress myself and that was inacceptable. I would never serve this kind of food. And the waiters were clearly inexperienced and uncomfortable too. I will stay at the Charleston again but I’m never going back to this awful restaurant. There is so many amazing place for food in Banff . So disappointed . The hotel should not be recommended this place. Overall very...

We made a dinner reservation here after perusing the menu and deciding on our order. The online reservation system asked for a credit card to reserve a table. It was for 7pm. We were looking forward to a treat as part of a weekend getaway. We arrived on time and had to wait for a table which had not been prepared in advance. It took some time before the server took our order. We ordered the three course adventure menu. It was a very long wait for food, and when it came they were both the wrong order. It was another very long wait to get the correct order. The wait time between courses was unbelievable. We were there from 7pm until they closed at 10pm, waiting for our food. We were told dessert was a pear tart but what we got was some type of vanilla/lemon custard tart that wasn't worth eating. The waiter refilled our water once during the three hours we were there. His way of apologizing was to say we were "unlucky". Would not recommend...
