Great meals -- refreshing flavors for the pasta without weighing you down, filling, veggies that are more than just decorations (unlike other places where the veggies mentioned in the menu are used just as a garnish) -- I would describe these meals as soulful. I'm attaching pictured of the Pasta Primavera (I added extra broccoli and grilled chicken), frittata Primavera and Grilled Chicken Rosmarino, and the Tiramisu. My favorite was the Primavera Pasta (the one on the menu was Penne but I asked for Spaghetti -- I think it holds the flavor better).

Most of the staff were also really friendly and they always checked in and wanted to know if you're enjoying your meal.

What I didn't like was that one server had her thumb in my dish when bringing it out to me, almost touching the food. The dish had two handles, I don't understand the need to hold the dish that way. Another server, when offering me a spoon held it near the eating side. When I asked for another one, she did the exact same thing and plonked it down on the table, not on a napkin, directly on the table. These practices are unhygienic. So much for all the spraying that they keep doing (sometimes carelessly without regard to proximity to a guest's face/eyes). I still tipped these servers generously but was disappointed. I hope the restaurant gives them the appropriate training.

I had almost all my meals here because the food was so good and it was convenient since I was staying at the Moose hotel. Would recommend to anyone in the Banff area.

The "coffee tiramisu" though was terrible. I've had great tiramisu and this was not one of them -- you couldn't taste any flavor of the expresso and it tasted stale. It just had a lot of whipped cream, and looked pretty. But I'm not taking away any stars because the rest of the food made up for that. I just wouldn't recommend...

A Culinary Nightmare at Pacini. If I could give Pacini zero stars, I would. My recent visit to this so-called "Italian" restaurant was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe, and a blatant disregard for dietary preferences that borders on sheer incompetence.

Let me paint the picture: as a vegetarian, I’m always crystal clear about my dietary restrictions when I dine out. At Pacini, I ordered what was supposed to be a delightful vegetarian dish. Imagine my disgust when I took a bite only to realize they had served me meat. Yes, you read that right—MEAT. In a dish specifically ordered as vegetarian.

This isn’t just an innocent mistake; this is an unforgivable act of negligence. In a world where dietary choices are more respected than ever, how does a restaurant manage to butcher (pun intended) such a simple request? It’s mind-boggling.

What’s worse is the response I received. The staff barely seemed to care. They had completely violated my dietary choice. It's as if my concerns were an inconvenience rather than a serious issue.

This incident is beyond unacceptable. It’s an insult to any customer who has specific dietary needs, whether for health, ethical, or personal reasons. If you can’t trust a restaurant to get a basic order right, what can you trust them with? I wouldn’t trust Pacini to boil water, let alone serve a proper meal.

I’ve never been so appalled by a dining experience. If you’re vegetarian, vegan, or have any dietary restrictions, stay far, far away from Pacini. They clearly have no respect for their customers or their food choices. I will never set foot in this establishment again, and I recommend others avoid it like the plague.

Pacini, you should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor and either learn how to respect your customers' dietary preferences or close your...

My visit to the restaurant was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The service was horrendous, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing even the most basic level of customer care. It took forever to be seated, and once we finally were, it took just as long for anyone to acknowledge our presence.

The waiter seemed to have disappeared into thin air, leaving us to wait for what felt like an eternity just to place our order. When the food finally arrived, it was a disaster. The presentation was lackluster, and it seemed like no effort was put into preparing the dishes. The taste was equally disappointing - bland and underseasoned. It was evident that the kitchen lacked any semblance of skill or passion for culinary artistry.

To make matters worse, some of the items we ordered were cold, and others were overcooked to the point of being inedible. When we tried to address these issues with the staff, they were defensive and dismissive, refusing to take responsibility for the abysmal quality of the food.

Adding insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant for the subpar experience we endured. The value for money was nonexistent, and I left feeling ripped off and unsatisfied.

Overall, I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. The service was deplorable, and the food was nothing short of a disaster. Save your money and your taste buds, and look elsewhere for a dining experience that is worth your time and...

We reached like almost later in evening and after settling down in our room the only available option we had was Pacini in Banff. They open till 10 PM in the month of Feb. From the moment we entered the place has its own charm towards restaurant. I had a quick look to the bread bar while being seated. We started off with the bread bar which had numerous options for bread like whole wheat, Rye & Garlic Bread. Then we had main course which is Truffle & Mushroom Pizza and Spinach & Artichoke Cheese Dip. We loved the food very much and kids enjoyed their meal with ceaser salad, margherita pizza with spaghetti. Out of all the staff was very professional and amazing and our server was George and he was awesome. We were one of the last guests for the night, so Chef Andrew came and discussed about the food and was there for a discussion instead finding out a simple answer as in yes or no. He found out that we tried pacini for the first time and made sure we will come again during the summer as well and they have nice setup outside to enjoy food in sun. Must go and try out food as its authentic italian and apart from their main course the desserts were also the game changer. We loved it. The only thing which was not as per our expectation was we thought the drip coffee refill were part of the deal but i realized after that we were being charged for all the refill.

I'm revising my review. I hate giving a bad review in view of how things have gone since covid and the lockdown. For this reason I gave a three star. My husband and I revisited this restaurant this past weekend for our anniversary. My husband ordered the veal scallopini and I ordered a penne pasta dish with chicken. We were served our wine and had a sip when our meals came out. We were very surprised at how fast our meals were ready. My pasta was cold and the chicken was sat on top of the pasta. You could see that the chicken had pre-done grill marks and was dry and not edible. I am positive the meal was microwaved. The waiter did offer to have the meal re-heated and offered different selections from the menu. I declined. My husband said his dinner was ok, but he was not impressed as it was a treat for him to be able to find veal on a menu so he ate it. The waiter Luke was superb and attentive. When leaving I spoke to the manager about how good the server was and said that I was really disappointed in my meal. She started to argue with me that they never microwave meals. I should have handled myself better than I did and walked away when faced with an argumentative manager. Unfortunately I did not and for that part I will apologize. I will however not set foot in any Pacini restaurant ever again.
