The professionalism and heart that comes from running this Banff hidden gem B&B is a true testament to why they have been a success at what they do: serving guests well in every way and at a fraction of the cost of hotels, Air B&Bs and even other b&bs. We stayed in room 3, the largest and best room, for 5 nights, travelled to Lake Louise/ Jasper, then returned for 5 nights, travelled to Louise Lake, then returned for 1 night.
Breakfast: Robin serves freshly baked croissants, toast with butter, jam, oj or apple juice, coffee or delicious Banff tea between 8-9am in room. I can tell she goes above and beyond what others do. On our last morning she got up earlier than normal to hand us breakfast as we were leaving. Lovely!
Room3- 2 double beds with 2 windows, fridge, a table and 4 chairs, lots of space! Free wifi.
Check in: seamless easy…you pay e-transfer or cash (you save on your bill as a result)
Bathroom: Strong water pressure. Shared with other guests, always clean, with the best local Banff shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion that smells like peppermint it was amazing! No one was monopolizing it so no issues.
Free coffee or tea with Kerig pods, free use of microwave.
Why they have heart: I ordered diapers from Amazon and it ended up at the post office so Robin was so kind to offer to pick it up; offered her own bathtub to allow my young kids to take a bath; She offered cutlery/ bowl/ plate when I wanted to cut up fruit for my kids; when we went to Lake Louise area for 1 night, they so kindly allowed me to leave my luggage….without charge. Kind. Lovely. Comfort.

B & B is about a 7-minute walk from tourist office in residential area (so very quiet!). Nice welcome from the mother & daughter team. Most rooms are on the top floor of the little house with one bathroom for most of them. It’s an old house so expect creaky floors and ordinary soundproofing. Furniture is ordinary and a tad old but still serviceable (see photo).||||We had a room with 2 single beds, fridge, sink, closet, small table & 2 chairs. Everything was simple but clean. Beds were comfortable. A fan was available if needed. Air conditioning available in July-August. Nice soap and shampoo from local business and enough towels. Just one thing missing, a place to hand the said towels to dry! A couple of towel rods would have been nice. No t.v. or phone by the way.||||Wifi worked well for the most part (1 breakdown one afternoon). Breakfast is delivered to your room at 8:00 + or as requested and every day consisted of croissant & toasts, juice, coffee, tea. The rest you can buy at the local IGA or Nester’s. The fridge is there for a reason. If need to leave early the next morning, you can ask for your croissant & juice the night before (delivery 8 p.m.). There is a little coffee-tea corner with a microwave in the hallway. ||||Overall a pleasant stay. This B & B is basic but provides you with all you need: a decent bed and a shower after...
Read moreThis was the most wonderful B&B for the most affordable price in Banff. Robin said it was important to her mother to provide a value and boy did she deliver on that! It was especially affordable for us after the Canadian -US conversion! We had the largest room with 2 comfortable double beds, a table and 2 chairs for eating our breakfast (which consisted of a croissant and toast, jam and butter, juice, coffee and/or tea. If we were leaving early, which we did most days, we could request delivery at night. There is a small frig to store drinks, eggs, bread etc. She gave me bowls to microwave eggs and make an egg on a croissant each morning. There is a coffee station on the 2nd floor near our room that has a keurig, selection of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. She also has a communal frig with tons of yogurt and a bowl of fruit to help yourself. She also offered us Bear spray (by the way, the spray sells for $47 in the grocery store in town...she gave us 3 cans!) Fortunately, we didn't need to use it lol so we returned it to your. ||This location is excellent, only 3 blocks and a short walk to anywhere in town! |Robin is also very quick to respond with emails...she sent me a list of their favorite hiking trails and restaurant/bar recommendations. What a pleasant woman indeed!||My only hesitation was the shared bathroom; however, it was never an issue. Alway clean and stocked and most people are out early and come back late so we never had any issues.|Stay here - you will love it...
