Overall, the stay was wonderful, but it would not be a proper review without including a couple of issues that came up. ||First, all the wonderful parts. The house has easily accessible off-street parking. We were in the Victorian room, which was chock full of charming vintage dĂ©cor and furniture. The bathroom was spacious and included a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. Everything in the room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Outside the room there was access to a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. ||To access the dining room, guests go through the kitchen to a large dining room with no less than four sideboards and two china cabinets. In front of the dining room there is a sitting room that must be for guest use, although we didnât go in. |The breakfast included a fruit cup, muffins, blueberry and cream topped French toast and beverages. There were cereals on the sideboard too. The day before we had been provided with a paper form to list breakfast time and to share any dietary restrictions. Breakfast was formally served and delicious. One surprise â the breakfast included artificial syrup. At an inn in Canada Iâd expect real maple syrup. ||Now the two issues. When we walked in there was a request to remove our shoes and not wear them anywhere indoors. I can understand this request to keep the house clean. There was a shoe rack with an assortment of slippers and slide sandals. Were these for guests to borrow? Or were they left there by other guests? I wish they had identified these, for example, label them âfor your courtesy use.â Or put up a small sign that says âguests may leave house shoes hereâ to explain they are not for anyone to borrow. ||The other issue involved the shower. My spouse took a shower about 8:45 a.m. The water pressure was excellent, and the temperature was fine. I asked âplease leave it onâ and I will step in right after you. I did that and had about 30 seconds when suddenly the water slowed to a tiny trickle. I tried turning it on and off a couple of times and there was no change. Luckily I had not used shampoo yet so I wasnât caught sudsy. An inn running out of water at this time of the morning is problematic. This issue would not prevent us from returning, but I would shower at...

On a recent get-away to visit Niagara Falls, my wife and I stayed at the charming A Night To Remember Bed & Breakfast on Main Street in the town of Niagara Falls.
Both owners of the B&B, Dody Sardjito and David Tetrault, were gracious hosts of this early 1900âs Queen Ann Revival style home. Being new to the areaâto the country-- our arrival was a bit off-putting, as we were met with only an envelope containing our key and welcome message taped to the door. We were greeted by our host later in the afternoon and immediately felt more comfortable about the area and our stay.
The house was beautifully preserved/restored with Victorian antiques. Our room featured queen size bed with carved wooden canopies, Jacuzzi tubs with separate walk-in showers, cable tv, window air conditioner, and free wi-fi. Dody provided a full hot breakfast of muffins, fruit cup, eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes in their elegant formal dining room.
The outside front porch was comfortable, allowing for leisurely reading and views of a beautiful yard. The lawn and landscaping are meticulously kept, featuring the most beautiful plants, flowers, and bushes.
Conveniently located, the B&B is a 10-minute walk to The Falls, Casino, and other downtown attractions.
We remain appreciative of the fellow travelers we met during our stay, and we believe future vacation visitors will appreciate, as we did, their stay at such a quaint and...
