📍Hilton Vancouver Downtown

We have loved our stay here! The customer service at the Hilton Vancouver Downtown is top notch: whoever we interacted with was courteous, professional and helpful, always greeting us, opening doors.. just wonderful. For example, we tried but could not control our AC and they solved that issue right away. The lobby is beautiful, the decor in hallways and rooms modern and clean. Some hotels update only the rooms, but this felt beautiful and welcoming everywhere. Worth every dollar. We had a King suite and it is so spacious, clean, modern, comfortable! The corner views of the city, a bit of the harbour and the public library— it’s lovely. Our sleeps were incredible— so very comfortable! Nothing was out of place, everything spic and span, zero complaints from me. Rainfall shower is nice (also has a handheld option) but could use a tad more pressure, that is if I’m really looking for something to improve. Lit mirror is nice, as well as tub if you have kids or wanted a soak. Their shampoo/body wash offerings, which I find important, are high quality: Crabtree & Evelyn. We used the exercise room and it was well equipped and clean. The hotel has great alley parking access and street access for when you’re out and about on foot. Location is fantastic— you are right across from a Starbucks, beside an IGA if you need any fresh food, you are steps away from shopping, entertainment, and great food! The location is within arms reach of shopping (Robson Street & Pacific Centre), the Vancouver Art Gallery, walking along the Seawall, etc. So many wonderful places to eat nearby. If you enjoy a city view, with peeks of the mountain and water, you’ll like it here. There are plenty of places to go to fully see the mountains. If you’re really big on seeing mostly the mountain views while you are in your hotel, a hotel near the harbour will be what you’re looking for. Also, do consider that year-round, views can get obscured by low clouds and rain. I have stayed in the Fairmont and Pan Pacific, and this was way more updated, better value for your money, and located in a superior area downtown, in my option. We are from the suburbs and used to live in the city, so definitely recommend this area (less sketchy than others). We will definitely be staying here again, and recommend it to you!

I rarely leave actual reviews for anything but I was so delighted by my recent stay, I felt compelled to. I was so relaxed from this visit, I have misplaced in my mind the names of the gentleman who helped with our bags and arranged our parking upon our arrival -- he was so kind and even informed us that it looked like our room was ready so he would drop our bags off. It was such a refreshing difference from our last visit in May, elsewhere and only a few blocks away. Driving into the parking garage, a nice man was also there who advised us to print a ticket and he would take a look at that and our permit from the previous person upon our leaving. I'm not sure why other reviews were so upset by the cost of parking or the lack of room service -- all of these things were clearly indicated to me multiple times when booking and in my confirmation. It also stated repeatedly that housekeeping needed to be arranged in advance. All of this was also reiterated to me by staff in a friendly and easy manner - our check-in associate was Jian (I am so sorry if I am misspelling this) and he is a true and rare asset to your team. He even remembered us by name when we requested to add another day to our stay due to the great time we were having. He was informative and concise at check-in and made sure we knew of the great amenities available to us but as he could see our tired faces, he understood and skillfully told us all we needed to know. Anyone who has been anywhere in the last year knows how short staffed any and every place is in every sector of labor. I think arranging your housekeeping in advance is an appropriate step when staffing may not be at capacity. A lot of things done here seem quite well thought out. I appreciated and used the nespresso machine and as someone who maniacally cleans mine at home, I was pleased to see it was SPOTLESS (I still ran the clean cycle numerous times as I do with my machine at home). Many wonderful details, the suites are comfortable and have everything you need right down to a line to hang dry your clothing. The windows in our suite opened which was great for letting in fresh air -- as someone who is born and raised in PNW, I love the cold night air. AC worked great, the deep soak bathtub was wonderful and we used it as a foot soak after walking miles and miles every day. The bed is comfortable but sleeps VERY HOT--as a fair warning to others who sleep warm. We still were able to sleep but we had to use just the flat sheet, it was THAT hot. Even with AC. However anyone who has been camping will tell you that this is still preferred to too cold. I never saw a soul on our floor the entire time we were there, despite going in and out numerous times. The wait for the elevator wasn't bad, usually a few seconds, rarely more than 40 seconds -- I assume it would get worse during check in/check out times and busy seasons like summer but that seems a bit obvious. To me, that is common sense -- an elevator isn't going to get added so everyone note that there are only 2 elevators and a service elevator and plan accordingly. I just try to live to the best extent as possible in a manner that is never in a hurry. I will definitely be back. I am planning a trip with my mom and this will for sure be our place. I am so happy to have found a great place to stay in such a walkable area. Thank you for taking...

This is bougie beyond bougie. Specifically the old white residents were snappy and passive aggressive Karen's. Check in staff were helpful, but unnaturally chipper. House keeping were very pleasant, genuine and when they didn't keep to themselves, were very friendly. So for some reason they check in at 4? Who is Flying mid day? Check in should be 12 at the latest had to waste 3 hours loitering overpriced malls. The room for what it costed is pitiful,  it was upwards of $110 and only had one room and a bathroom. Which I could get with 2 rooms for $75 at Super8. Guess what else I'd get at that super8? Complementary breakfast! Hilton charges $25 for an omelette! Absurd! The shower "door" is LITERALLY a heavy glass plate that slams if you leave it open or dont gently close it, this door also blocks absolutely nothing, letting water seep out. This expensive hotel cant even supply 2 ply toilet paper, it would be more enjoyable at a McDonald's toilet. The wiring of the rooms are unnecessarily complex and frustrating,  its managing a bunch of AND gates to just charge your phone. They have a personally bugged TV for each room. You cant plug in any HDMI except the original box, so dont bother bringing a console, youtube option was LITERALLY only Hilton's YT channel, you cant edit input. The drop off staff were nice tho.  Across from a banger pizza place. I rinsed a cup in my rooms sink, the water it gave was so heavily treated with chlorine that apon using the cup, my throat became dry and irritated. Speaking of water, water stations are dispersed across the floors, but some are ice and water, some ice only. The water quality differed every day,  sometimes good, other times it'd be better to skip the middle man and chug chlorine. The mini fridge was unusable for leftovers or personal items because its was completely full of cans. The elevator is honestly a little too fast, it does like 10 floors every 2 seconds, the quick atmosphere change irritated my ears. Pool was nice and was surprised that even tho it was cold out, the regular pool was heated. The change rooms connected to the pool and gym were decked out with steam rooms and a dryer for your swimwear. But I hated the minty body wash in the shower, dont know why they couldn't put the same body wash from rooms. Complementary bath-robes from rooms were large and comfy. I will say tho, the sound proofing of the rooms is insane, heard no one, and house keeping literally announced themselves and it was so quiet we thought it was for the room opposite down the hall. Rooms have free bottled water. The only thing you really get from being here is central residential area. Overall, for all the bells and whistles you would assume a pricey/fancy hotel, the actual experience its equal to or less than a common $60 motel, but upcharged by 150% for no...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Vancouver Downtown and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that lasted throughout my entire stay. Here's why I highly recommend this hotel:

Prime Location: The hotel's location is simply unbeatable. Situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, it offers easy access to a myriad of attractions, shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment options. Whether you're a business traveler or a tourist, you'll find everything you need right at your doorstep.

Stylish and Comfortable Accommodations: The rooms at Hilton Vancouver Downtown are tastefully designed and spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in room amenities, including a well-stocked minibar, a large flat-screen TV, and a work desk with a comfortable chair.

Impeccable Service: The staff at Hilton Vancouver Downtown truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly impressive.

Dining Excellence: The hotel offers a variety of dining options that cater to different tastes and preferences. The breakfast buffet was extensive, featuring a wide range of delicious options to start the day off right. I also had the opportunity to try the on-site restaurant, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and the attentive service.

Exceptional Facilities: The hotel boasts a range of excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a refreshing indoor pool. Additionally, the modern meeting rooms and business center make it an ideal choice for business travelers.

Attention to Cleanliness and Safety: In light of the ongoing pandemic, the Hilton Vancouver Downtown has taken extensive measures to ensure the health and safety of its guests. The hotel adheres to rigorous cleanliness protocols, including regular sanitization, social distancing measures, and mandatory mask-wearing, providing guests with peace of mind during their stay.

In conclusion, my experience at the Hilton Vancouver Downtown was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its prime location, comfortable accommodations, outstanding service, and top-notch facilities make it a standout choice for both business and leisure travelers. I can confidently say that I will be returning on my next visit...
