Scary experience!!!||We arrived at this motel on July 26,2019. We went to the front desk but no one was there. There was a note saying to call a number if no one is present. We called the number and a guy answered the phone and said that he is not closed by and that he will send his cousin to help me. Few minutes later he called me back and told me to go to the front desk and go on their desk and find our room keys. I was laughing and he “said sorry it’s weird that I’m asking you to get your own room key. Please do t give us a bad review”||I jokingly said “we’ll see about that after we eat breakfast”||As we were walking to the parking lot looking for our room, there was a guy at the room above us yelling and swearing at us. We ignored it and told ourselves maybe he was just drunk. We left the room And drove around the area. When we came back 2 hours after, he was still yelling and making scene. There were a lot of people standing by the parking lot wondering what was happening. The motel employee was trying to explain that the guy who was yelling was part of a military band and that there are people up in his room trying to talk with him. The people that were at the parking lot were part of the event organizers. They were trying to calm him down. One of the guy told me that if he doesn’t calm down they would call the police.i told the employee that We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in our room. Our son was so scared. He then explained that there is nothing he can do because they were full. ||The owner/manager of the motel arrived and offered to transfer us to their sister motel, okanagan motel.||We grabbed the offer because there was no way we could sleep in a situation like that. We were packing and about to leave, then the police came. The Canada’s best value gave us a $10 discount. I was not after the discount but $10 is very hilarious. They asked if us not to make a bad review... I give credit to the owner for stepping in and offered to transfer us but customer service is -20 percent.||||If you can afford extra dollars, stay somewhere else not here. Read moreOur suite was very dirty and looks like it was not cleaned properly. I'm only giving one star because the staff are very friendly, but overall I think they are just nice to guests and then go about their way not actually caring about guest complaints, as given by the amount of reviews stating the rooms are dirty, nothing changes. Our room had a pair of shoes in it from the previous guests I'm assuming. It also had dirty linens and dirty used towels in it. The bedding had several cigarette burn holes in it as well. All of the furniture had dust on it and the bathrooms were dirty. We complained about the linen being stained and dirty and were told that they are very busy having to clean all the units. We were given new linens but they were not much better and we ended up just sleeping on top of the bedding as we did not trust that we would not get bed bugs. The guys running the place were not even at the front desk when we got there and drove up looking like they had just come from the club. Really there is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness - please clean you units and up your standards of cleanliness. I would recommend throwing out stained linens and not reusing them after they are washed. Cleaned stained linens look just as bad as used dirty linens. Our fridge was dirty and smelly, and the bathrooms and kitchen both have mold on the walls. I would recommend updating the units as needed. I have allergies to both mold and dust and woke up very congested and feeling unwell. Despite friendly and polite staff, I would not recommend staying here to anyone because you can get better value elsewhere and stay...

Had to pay whole stay upfront (before even getting key)|-Worker pounding on wall outside our room at 9 pm repairing something.|Considering there is two signs on 2 different walls for a STOP WORK ORDER, I’m guessing that’s why they working so late (when an inspector won’t be on duty to see it?)🤔||Manish’ the clerk looks like he would just adjust his headset and get in his car and leave if the place was on fire.||-Loud A/C unit |- as soon as we entered the room, my wife and I always check for damage by others before us.|There is a burn from someone who smoked in this NON SMOKING ROOM on the night stand and her lamp on her side of bed tilts to the side(see picture included)we took a video of it.|We always document evidence (so they don’t try to charge us for it)|The website shows a place for what I’m guess WAS a continental breakfast.
