Such a disappointing experience.
First time my family and I have been together in over a year and we decided to go to dairy Queen for dinner and dessert.
The meal was quick to come out most of us, except my poor pregnant sister and her husband. They forgot her order entirely! By the time the brought it out the burgers were cold and had to be microwaved unless she wanted to wait ten minutes for a fresh burger.
There was no offer made by the staff to compensate for this. I know places are short staffed and stressed out which is why I decided to quietly speak to the manager to see if there was a way that the issue could be corrected to help repair the experience. Her plan was to buy the BOGO peanut buster parfait for her and her husband, and I was going to use the birthday BOGO for blizzards. I thought comping the two peanut buster parfaits would be an easy way to make the situation better and not really sour the over all experience we had. The manager said he would talk to his other manager to see what could be done.
Two manages put their heads together and offered instead a two for one price on the desserts which is what we already had loyalty coupon for to start with. I did not feel like getting into a debate with two managers about why that wasn't good enough. Mean time they still had not put my birthday Blizzard together either, and we were left waiting even more while they tried to track down what happened to the blizzard ordered ten minutes before.
All in all a very disappointing situation that could have been easily resolved if the managers (two of them) had offered a better apology than the coupon we all already had on the loyalty app.

I had received a five dollars off my birthday cake coupon for my birthday, but due to app issues it stated my location was closed into use the coupon at another location. I asked to speak to a manager as it was an app glitch and they said “sorry nothing I can do”.... but there is something you can do!!! give me a dang cone, it’s my birthday... I ended up contacting the local store with no answer so I contacted head office and all they did was give me a buy one get one free blizzard treat that expired in 5 days and I was on the island for two weeks! I responded that that would be of no help to me and if there was anything else they could do with no response. Horrible horrible horrible service, this is what you call a greedy corporation.
Sad as I believe their franchise. After 25 years visiting this location I will no longer!! I give the benefit of the doubt before I write a review but I tried that so here it is and don’t send me some generic link to fill out because I already did and this was their response

Read moreI was accused of not knowing what size I ordered. I just left with an exact refund and a permanent bad taste. I do not believe I will return to this location again. They were busy, so we were patient. I ordered a large blizzard and it was given away to someone else. The small came out that was meant for the order 5 people after us. No one was picking up the small, so I was explaining to them what may have happened. I was told I was wrong. They even made me produce a copy of purchase because they didn't believe me that I ordered a large. They were trying to give me the small. I wasn't willing to go home with a small when I just paid for a large. Instead of trying to rush out a large blizzard he crossed his arms and accused me of falsifying this information, so I went to the car to get receipt where my partner had been waiting with their ice cream for about ten minutes...like seriously?! Then I had to ASK for a refund, nothing was offered but to now wait for a large or get my money back. Id recommend to go to any other ice cream place in the area. This was NOT worth ice cream ever.
