Booked in advance for two beds one room, there's four of us in total (3 adults & 1 four years old). Upon arrival on the lodge, this indian lady welcomed us to ask for our details, and she started counting, she then ask why there's four of us? in a mean and rude way. I then said why is there a problem? She then said yes, because i only paid for two people. I was like are you serious? At this point I was triggered especially we traveled thru snow for 6 hours. I was like for 3 adults with one kid I still need to pay per person? Dont I pay for the room? And it's not like there's 10 of us in one room.😡 as I said we all tired from long hours of driving, i said, you know what fine how much? We then proceed with all the stuffs for the room I booked, Cleaning service is every Monday she said and if i want to do laundry it's $3 per load. At this point she's not very friendly and speaking in a bad mannered, there was a guy along side with her trying to de-escalate the atmosphere. If you're her husband I feel bad for you. Anyways we went to our room, Surprised surprised, the room smells awful and smell like cigarette, as they said "strictly no smoking" The floor is dirty, table and chairs are older than my grandma, and the beds. Who on earth put table cloth on a bed?🤣 Anyways we all walked out and ask for refund and just went thru sandman hotel across the street. For the Rude Lady, I hope you...
Read moreChecking in was a breeze, and I was immediately impressed by the front desk clerk's professionalism and customer service. Even though he was on the phone with another guest when I arrived, he courteously asked to put the call on hold to assist me promptly. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor set a positive tone for my stay. What stood out was his willingness to go the extra mile - he even offered to help me with my luggage up the stairs, which was greatly appreciated.
I did request a ground-floor suite during check-in, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible as the hotel was fully booked. I would appreciate knowing how to secure a bottom-floor suite for future stays, as that would be a helpful option to have.
As for the room itself, I found it to be clean and well-maintained. The updated furniture gave it a modern and appealing look. While I was generally satisfied with the room, I did notice that the bathtub and bathroom could benefit from some remodeling. This would enhance the overall experience and align with the improvements made to the rest of the room.Overall, my stay at the Econo Lodge was pleasant, and I want to commend the front desk staff for their excellent service. I look forward to my next visit, and if there are any ways to ensure a ground-floor suite, I'd appreciate the guidance. Thank you for providing a comfortable and convenient...
Read moreI stayed the first night for work, and then met up with our ball team for the weekend. There was a big ball tournament in town that weekend. Rooms were clean. Semi updated. Non smoking rooms are next to smoking rooms, and because they all back into a courtyard- the rooms smell. They are really focused on collecting your money- so be prepared to pay before you stay.
DO NOT GO AS GROUP- They are sensitive to noise. We were not informed of issues on Friday and Saturday night until 10:30PM Sunday night (Labor Day Long Weekend). We are a responsible group with 12 couples, 2 infants, 1 expecting mother- We are having a good time.
Owner falsly accused one specific room in our group for the reason he had to comp a free night. In fact, the guy staying in the room was sleeping at 8pm because of an illness. The expecting mother and one of the infants were next to the problem room, and was not disturbed by the noise.
If you are by yourself or are a small group (4-6 ppl) you should be OK. Would NOT recommend for teams. Too sensitive, and if there have been alcohol- gets confrontational. Also did not communicate to group organizer ANY issues until he started to get angry. Once he explained why he was mad- I talked to our group and the group dispersed, tidy'd up our cans, and went across the street to Denny's for something to eat. We were not an...
