Tivemos uma experiência muito negativa com o hotel The Place, especificamente com o serviço de café da manhã, onde fomos tratados com extremo desrespeito, o que nos levou a optar por não utilizá-lo. Ao levarmos o problema à recepção, a funcionária apenas lamentou, mas não tomou nenhuma providência. Durante nossa estadia no Chile, tivemos que procurar outro local para tomar café da manhã com nossa bebê de apenas 10 meses, o que nos causou grande transtorno.
No momento do check-out, a estadia já havia sido paga, e o Sr. Miguel, que era o atendente no momento, se comprometeu a devolver o valor referente ao café da manhã não consumido. Inclusive, ele pegou nossos dados bancários e pessoais para realizar o reembolso. No entanto, aparentemente, tudo não passou de um teatro, pois até o presente momento, quinta-feira, dia 12, ainda não recebemos a devolução do valor.
Tentamos contato por e-mail, pelo site do hotel e também através do aplicativo de reservas, Booking, sem sucesso. Curiosamente, antes da nossa entrada no hotel, qualquer dúvida que enviávamos era prontamente respondida tanto pelo Booking quanto por e-mail. Agora, diante de um problema, o hotel parece ignorar a situação, como se nada tivesse acontecido. Sentimo-nos extremamente prejudicados e com a clara impressão de que o hotel está agindo de má fé ao não cumprir o que foi acordado. Spanish
Tuvimos una experiencia muy negativa con el hotel The Place, específicamente con el servicio de desayuno, donde fuimos tratados con un extremo desprecio, lo que nos llevó a optar por no usarlo. Al plantear el problema en la recepción, la funcionaria solo lamentó la situación, pero no tomó ninguna medida. Durante nuestra estadía en Chile, tuvimos que buscar otro lugar para desayunar con nuestra bebé de solo 10 meses, lo que nos causó gran trastorno.
Al momento del check-out, la estadía ya había sido pagada, y el Sr. Miguel, que era el recepcionista en ese momento, se comprometió a devolver el valor del desayuno que no consumimos. Incluso, tomó nuestros datos bancarios y personales para realizar el reembolso. Sin embargo, aparentemente, todo fue solo una actuación. Hasta la fecha, jueves 12, aún no hemos recibido el dinero.
Intentamos contactarnos por correo electrónico, por el sitio web del hotel y también a través de la aplicación de reservas, Booking, sin éxito. Curiosamente, antes de nuestra llegada al hotel, cualquier duda que enviábamos era respondida rápidamente tanto por Booking como por correo electrónico. Ahora, frente a un problema, el hotel parece ignorar la situación como si nada hubiera pasado. Nos sentimos extremadamente perjudicados y con la clara impresión de que el hotel está actuando de mala fe al no cumplir con lo acordado.

We had a very negative experience at The Place hotel, specifically with the breakfast service, where we were treated with extreme disrespect, which led us to decide not to use it. When we raised the issue at the reception, the staff member merely expressed regret but did nothing about it. During our stay in Chile, we had to find another place for breakfast with our 10-month-old baby, which caused us great inconvenience.
At the time of check-out, the stay had already been paid for, and Mr. Miguel, who was the attendant at the time, committed to refunding the amount for the breakfast we did not consume. He even took our bank details and personal information to process the refund. However, it appears that this was nothing but a performance. As of today, Thursday the 12th, we still have not received the refund.
We’ve tried contacting them via email, through the hotel's website, and also through the Booking app, without any success. Interestingly, before our stay, any questions we had were promptly answered via Booking and email. Now, in the face of an issue, the hotel seems to ignore the situation as if nothing happened. Our room was not ready at check-in time, and when we received it, it wasn't cleaned or prepared properly. It was dusty, there were footprints on the floors and the safe hadn't been reset.
The fixtures and furniture are not well maintained. The shower had mold and lime scale everywhere, the couch and footrest had multiple stains, the walls were dirty in several places and there was a broken air vent.
The pool was closed for the season, even though the weather was still over 25 C. We were very disappointed that we couldn't use it.
The breakfast was very limited and disappointing. Our pancakes were at room temperature and the bread was stale, hard and cold. The cream cheese was hard to spread, it tasted like it had been stored in the fridge for many days. The service was slow and it looked like walk-in customers were given priority over hotel guests.
For the price they charge, one could stay at one of the many big hotel chains in the area or rent an Airbnb with similar amenities for half...

Far enough away from hustle and bustle of city centre but walking distance to subway, public transport, supermarket and shopping mall.|The staff are excellent, especially Daniel, Darlyn and Tatiana on front desk and John in restaurant. The rooms are excellent, clean, spacious (we had cooking facilities) with coffee machine. Very comfy beds.|Breakfast was included in our booking and it was more than enough and excellent choice. We did a walking tour while we were there which I can recommend. The subways are very easy to navigate. |We took a shared mini cab from the airport which went round the houses as you would expect but about $10 cheaper. Depends on how tired you are but next time we would probably take a taxi direct. We left the hotel to catch bus from the terminal to Mendoza and the staff kindly arranged transport for us as it is not an easy find by public transport. Would definitely recommend The Place for your stay...
