My husband and I had a lakeside suite here, and both the view and the room, itself, were fantastic! I was not expecting an "apartment" but that is really what it was. We had more than enough space to host a cocktail party for my whole travel-group of six! The room finishings (ie windows, heaters, etc) were top quality - which is too often not the case in popular resort hotels. My biggest gripe is that the room I am describing was a lengthy walk on deep gravel to the main lodge... for breakfast, or whatever. It was cold, too! Luggage (thank God) was transported by a four wheeler - but I think they should have had some conveyance for the people staying in their last building! We felt kind of isolated.||The staff could have made all the difference, but they were cold, too. Would I stay there again? Yes. But I might specify only in the suite closest...
Read moreBefore making a reservation on the villas at Terrazas del Lago. We stayed there for 3 days, 2 nights on December 2013. The villas did not seemed to be maintained at all. We found burned light bulbs, broken chairs, dusty furniture and dirty kitchen utensils. We brought up the condition to hotel management and were not offered any services or even an apology to change our experience. We later found out that the villas are owned by a private owner who doesn't seem interested in spending any money to upkeep the property. It is really not worth to stay in this run down villas. Fantastic view from our bedroom window over the lake,room||spacious and bed comfortable. Bathroom small but clean. A 10 minute walk from the main||shopping area with a few good quality shops there. Entrance back into holel opposite the lake||saves you climbing the hill to main entrance.
