Hostal Rynaike — Hotel in Punta Arenas

Location: The property is a 5 minute walk from the main plaza where many Banks, restaurants and tour agencies are located. The only downside is that is is on a semi-busy road and it can get a tad noisy - the owner supplied us with ear plugs to help with this. I still had a great sleep nonetheless. | |Rooms: the double room and private bathroom was very clean and spacious. Heaters were cranked up which was perfect. As it is a hostel it, we we’re not expecting much and was surprised to have a room with a tv, soap and towels provided for. Wifi was great around the hostel and I felt very safe in the neighbourhood. Great value for money, could easily fit 4 people in our room .| |Service: the lovely couple are very accommodating - they gave us an introduction to the city, booked a taxi for us and were quick to answer our questions. Conveniently located hotel with spacious rooms (our triple room had a large double bed and a set of bunk beds). Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Clean and comfortable (although the room could have used some seating and a fresh coat of paint - but you are not here to stay in the room). Free wifi was strong. Decent breakfast includes slices of ham and cheese, cereal, milk, juices, and yogurt. Friendly staff that are very helpful/informative. Some minor road noise (but the facility provides ear plugs which the three of us did not need to use). We stayed there four nights and would stay here again if...

We stayed only one night before continuing to Puerto Natales. The hostel is located very conveniently to restaurants, stores and tour agencies. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy (unfortunately I don't know his name) spoke very good English and told us that we should visit the cemetery, which was a great tip (must see!). We had a room with our own bathroom and both were huge. Lots of space and clean. Breakfast was standard. The bus station is about 15 min walk...
