There aren't a lot of options in Punta Arenas, and this one worked out ideally. These are newly built 'condos' with kitchen, common area, one bath, and two bedrooms, sleeping a total of 3 people in beds. There will be a total of 7 units when they are finished, it is nice and quiet in this part of town, and it's not located right on the road, which helps, too. However, you can very likely hear noise from your neighbors, not sure if it's the windows or thin walls. There weren't many people here when we were there, so we didn't hear much noise, but when neighbors were in, we could hear the noise.||||The host & hostess and their son are really helpful, their son will drive you to/from the airport for $20 a trip. (it's about 30 minutes) Breakfast is accurately depicted in the photos on booking and consists of cheese & cold cuts, bread, butter, jelly, juice boxes, sometimes yogurt, sometimes a home baked treat. Or you can easily make your own in the fully stocked kitchen.||||Location was great, just up the street from the cruise terminal and handicraft shops, 5 minutes from the nearest grocery store, which is halfway between the lodging and the street with all the restaurants. 5 minutes from the town square as well...all these times are walking, so you won't need a car if you've got tours scheduled that pick you up.||||Only negatives: If the toilet paper can't be flushed, the bathroom trash should be emptied daily or extra bags left so you can do it yourself. Also, there are no blackout shades in some of the bedrooms, which makes it difficult to sleep. And the beds make a lot of noise when you turn over on them due to the type of fabric on the mattress pad and the mattress, it's like rolling around in crackly paper...not good if you're a light sleeper! OK probably on twin beds, but not on the double bed. We took the extra blanket and put it between the mattress & mattress protector to make...

Located within a short walking distance from the main square of Punta Arenas, it offers a lot of convenience due to proximity of the starting point of several tours, some of which start very early in the mornings. The accommodations are inside a gated wall making it very secured. The condo that my family of 4 stayed in was very cozy with a hall/dining area, kitchen & bathroom on the ground floor and 2 decent size rooms on the first floor. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Heating system was adequate which is important as it can get very cold at night time even in the summertime. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Complimentary adequate breakfast was provided the evening before each day, which added flexibility to the timing of the breakfast that we could have on any of the days. It is a family owned business and the family owners were extremely friendly and dedicated to customer service. Overall this accommodation gave us the best value for money in Punta Arenas. I would certainly very highly recommend this accommodation to any traveler/s in Punta Arenas and especially to families...

Un excelente lugar para descansar. Tenes todo cerca, desde super a casas de cambio (vas y volves caminando). Las habitaciones amplias y los colchones muy comodos, la sala de estar/comedor muy amplias, al igual que la cocina, la cual esta equipada con todo lo que necesitas para cocinar (tienen pava electrica, mircroondas, tostador, cocina con horno). El baño muy comodo con toallas y secador de pelo. Tienen un estacionamiento/patio muy amplio, con camaras de vigilancia y porton. Para los que tenemos el sueño ligero, se puede descansar muy bien por las noches ya que el ruido es practicamente nulo. Muy conforme,...
